Many people, I believe, that do not accept Jesus don't care. And I think many people believe that not accepting Christ allows them to do whatever they want. If you believe in Christ you have to behave differently; wrong, you will behave differently because you accepted
Christ - you will want to be a good person, strive to do better.
If you don't pay attention to Jesus, then you are against Him. And you can't just pay attention to Jesus when times are tough, although it is not a bad time to pay attention to Him. I am rambling a bit, but it hard to explain.
Many people seem to use religion when times get tough. Jesus is there for the good times, too; but when money is in the bank sometimes we forget. God will definitely humble us with this thinking.
Love Jesus so you can get to God. Tell God that you love Him.
This is a faithful saying:
For if we died with Him,
We shall also live with Him.
If we endure,
We shall also reign with Him.
If we deny Him,
He also will deny us.
If we are faithless,
He remains faithful;
He cannot deny Himself.
