Parable Of The Vinedressers

    "Again he sent other servants, more than the first, and they did likewise to them.
    "Then last of all he sent his son to them, saying, 'They will respect my son.'
                       Matthew 21:36,37

     You can't really compare this to the death of Jesus. It was prophecy and God knew what had to happen.
I was thinking about this today. God stopped Abraham from sacrificing Isaac. But God was willing and did sacrifice His only Son for the sins of mankind - what a selfless act.
I know that God asked Abraham to sacrifice Isaac, but He had His reasons. I don't why I thought about this, but I did. Maybe I am trying to figure out how God felt. I don't really know. Tell God that you love Him.

This is a faithful saying:

     For if we died with Him,
We shall also live with Him.
     If we endure,
We shall also reign with Him.
     If we deny Him,
He also will deny us.
     If we are faithless,
He remains faithful;
     He cannot deny Himself.
           2 Timothy 2:11-13
