Been studying on this for a while, it gets tougher as I do. I might be wrong, but here goes -
I am relating the original talents to the Bible. God's Word is given to us to use, and those that do, they prosper in God's eyes. The last servant did not even open the Bible and did nothing with what he was given.
I am having trouble getting past the money, which means I am still in man's world, unfortunately. I feel that God wants us to know we will be rewarded in heaven. I just want to get there, and take as many people as possible with me :-)
My faith needs to be better. Here is a solution - tell God that you love Him.
This is a faithful saying:
For if we died with Him,
We shall also live with Him.
If we endure,
We shall also reign with Him.
If we deny Him,
He also will deny us.
If we are faithless,
He remains faithful;
He cannot deny Himself.
