The proud have dug pits for

I think this is referring to man's world. I have pretty much taken the word, "pride" out of my own vocabulary, and started viewing the earth as it is and not how people want you to see it. Erase what man has built and start afresh.
I could build a cabin and live by a stream, with my Bible of course, and be totally happy. Something happens to me when I get around people and into the hustle and bustle of the world. It is the things, the things you see and hear. I notice bad, but I also notice good. Tell God that you love Him.
The LORD bless you and keep you;
The LORD make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.
