No one's POV

Ariana was leaning against a wall in a small alcove outside of the school when Matt approached her.

"Hello, Miss Sunshine." Matt greeted cheerfully. Ariana chuckled before sending Matt a grateful smile.

"Thank you for doing this. I can't keep anything else down."

"It's okay. I kind of owe you my life, remember?" Matt reminded.

"Yeah, but I didn't make Stefan save your life so that I could turn you into a human blood bag." Ariana joked.

"Ari, please, just..." Matt rolled up his sleeve and extended his arm towards her. "Let me do this for you."

So, after a moment, Ariana grabbed Matt's arm and bit into his wrist so she could feed from him. As soon as she began to feel the bloodlust take over, she stopped and let go of him. Matt looked down at his wrist.

"Was that enough?"

"No." Ariana replied, wiping the blood off of her face. "But, it'll do. Here." She took out a bandage from her purse and applied it to Matt's wrist. "Thank you."

Matt nodded at her. The bell rang. Ariana jumped down onto a table and then to the ground. Matt jumped down beside her. They began to walk across the school grounds.

"So, you really think school is the best place for you right now?" Matt wondered.

"The vampire hunter knows that Damon's a vampire, and that I know Damon. Hiding at home would be more suspicious." Ariana stated. "Besides, it's our senior year. There's no way I'm bailing before graduation." Then, Ariana suddenly noticed a pamphlet on the windshield of a car, reading, 'Mandatory Curfew All Ages Commencing @ 10 PM Until Further Notice' which was issued by the Police Department. Ariana stared down at it, confused. "Town called for curfew?"

"Tyler got shot in front of half the town. Everyone's a little freaked." Matt shrugged, causing Ariana to sigh.

"If only they knew the real story..."

Elena, Nathan, Ariana, and Stefan all sat down in their desks.

"It's the first time we've been back in Alaric's classroom..." Stefan spoke, saddened.

"First period, and I'm ready to bawl my eyes out." Elena commented, also very sad. Rebekah then took that time to enter the classroom with flyers.

"Morning, everyone."

"Morning, Bekah." All of the students chorused back to her.

"Just like that, I'm no longer feeling sentimental." Ariana muttered.

"Hey, I thought you'd forgiven me." Rebekah frowned.

"Have you forgotten the part where you killed me?" Ariana snapped, glaring at Rebekah from her desk. Rebekah looked down.

"Ari, I said I was--"

"How about you leave my sister the hell alone and get on with whatever those are?" Elena cut in harshly, pointing at the flyers in Rebekah's hand.

"Easy on the tone, Elena." Rebekah smirked. "I'm throwing a little anti-curfew party at my new house. Starts at fifth period and goes 'til whenever. Spread the word." She handed out a couple of the flyers, including handing one to Ariana.

"I hope to see you there, Ari. Then, hopefully, I can win your forgiveness."

"Unlikely." Ariana whispered to herself. Hearing that, Rebekah frowned sadly again, before she regained herself and turned to Elena.
