I felt my heart sting a little watching him dance with another girl . It hurt watching him interact with other girls . I cant do much about it though because he's my best friend & it's been that way since we were little . He never sees me in the way i do because whenever he's asked he introduces me as his best friend or describes me to be "like a little sister to him" .
I pulled out my flask drinking back the rest of the vodka that was inside before wrapping my shawl around my shoulders and making my way to leave . While i was getting dressed i promised myself i wouldn't let anyone or anything ruin my prom .. i basically ruined it myself . As i was walking out i bumped into my other friend kyung-po "uh- y/n you look- wow" i kept my head down so he couldn't see my eyes watering . "thank you" was all i said before trying to slide past him . of course i was unsuccessful .
"Hey what's wrong?" he asked as he put both of his hands on my arms bending down to look at my face . It was pathetic how i couldn't even speak , as soon as i opened my mouth tears started frantically falling . Kyung-po pulled me into him as i cried ruining my makeup & his suit .

Kyungpo looked behind over her head into the gymnasium where various people danced and talked with each other . He spotted Bogum smiling and waltzing with the school's popular girl pressed against him . He knew y/n had a crush on Bogum & honestly his heart hurt a little about it because he liked her but he was in the same situation she was in , she liked someone else .
"Let's go get some fresh air" He spoke up as she lifted her head from his chest leaving behind a smidge of the mascara that ran down her face . Once they got outside she apologized . "I'm sorry , you can go enjoy your prom , i'll be okay" She looked at him giving him a fake smile making him squint at her and sigh . He grabbed her hand startling her a bit , dragging her over to his car . He pulled out a water and a pack of wet wipes taking out a few and cleaning the makeup from her face . She stared up at him wondering when he got so good looking . He always had been handsome , she just didn't pay too much attention to it .
Once he finished he passed her the bottle of water and threw the wipes down on the floor . "Thank you .. but you really didn't have to do thi-" "it's okay , i don't mind & i wanted to" he spoke leaning back on his car & looking out into the distance . she was a bit confused on what he meant by he wanted to but she just brushed it off and took a sip from her water . "I think i'm gonna call it a night , i'll find a way home so you don't have to worry about it .. go enjoy your prom & thanks again" she spoke as she began to walk away .
Just then he grabbed her wrist stopping her from doing so "no i'll take you-" "Y/N THERE YOU ARE IVE BEEN LOOKING ALL OVER FOR YOU" bogum yelled as he jogged over to the 2 of them stopping and hunching over to catch his breath . "oh hey kyungpo i didn't see you earlier , you look good man" "thanks" bogum looked at kyungpo holding y/ns arm and then looked up at him and back to y/n . "are you okay y/n? you look like you were crying" he asked and she shook her head not really wanting to talk . "i'm fine" she pulled her wrist from his hand .
"why're you out here , come insi-" "i'm not feeling well , im just gonna go home" she said and he gave her a confused look . "what's wrong?" "it's just a stomach ache i'll be okay tomorrow" she said beginning to grow uncomfortable which kyungpo noticed . "okay then i'll drive you h-" "no i'll take her" kyungpo spoke up and bogum looked at him . "it's okay , i got her" "yeah and you also have a prom date waiting for you , so i think you should get back to her" he said in a bit of a hostile manner .
"what's your problem" bogum asked and kyungpo stepped forward making y/n step between them "i don't have a problem , should i have one?" he said . "i'm just worrying about my best friend" "really , that's a first" bogums jaw flexed a bit as he grew irritated . "stop acting like y/n is your priority and just go enjoy your prom" he said and kyungpo scoffed . "and if i don't?" "both of you stop" y/n said making them direct their attention to her . "kyungpo let's go" she said making him smirk stepping back a bit from bogum . "y/n you're seriously gonna leave with him?" bogum asked and y/ns temple twitched .
just as she was turning around bogums date walked up behind him grabbing his arm in hers . "is everything okay?" she asked looking y/n up and down with a snobby look on her face . nobody answered her , y/n just scoffed & walked to the passenger side of kyungpo's car getting in and fastening her seatbelt while holding eye contact with bogum . it wasn't anger filled , well for her atleast .. she felt like crying as kyungpo pulled out of the schools parking lot .
bogum cursed loudly snatching his arm away from his date and throwing his flower pin on the ground . he wasn't angry at y/n , he was angry that another man had her attention & that that man was go kyungpo , now an old friend turned enemy .
