76. I am from 2023!

Freen woke up in Rebecca's arms. It's dark in the room as it's night now. Freen looked at Rebecca who seems like she cried a lot today. She tried to move away from Rebecca and resulted in waking her up in this process.

"Freen.... You are here!.... You are awake!"

"Yes silly" Freen said as she sat on the bed.

Rebecca switched on the night lamp. Freen's body is not translucent now, somehow it's back to normal. "You are okay Freen!?!" Rebecca said.

"Yes, I think so. It's not even paining now...." Freen replied. Rebecca hugged Freen and Freen hugged her back to assure that everything is fine. After few minutes, Rebecca moved away from Freen, but Freen held her close not letting her to move away because she feels safe in Rebecca's arms.

"Stay...." Freen said.

"I remembered more about me...." The room is filled with silence and questions.

"I am Freen Sarocha Chakimha, I am from Thailand and I am not dead.... yet.... that's what I believe...."

"It was my 22nd birthday, I was with my friends and Becky in Italy to celebrate my birthday. But someone attacked on us and somehow.... It might sound weird.... But I think I time travelled back to past.... I am from future, more specifically I am from the year 2023" Freen said.

"Time travel?" Rebecca asked in confusion.

"Yes, I am not from here because I am from future. No one's even looking for me because I haven't even born yet." Rebecca don't believe in time travel and even if Freen has somehow time travelled it doesn't makes sense why her body was disappearing today.

"You don't trust me?" Freen said pulling away a little from Rebecca.

"How can I?" Rebecca answered.

"You remember my phone which you had in hospital? It was the latest iPhone from my time" Freen said.

"Mobile phone?"

"Yeah, Apple hasn't made any tech close to that phone right now" Freen said.

"If you are from future, then how did you came here? And what was happening today? Will you go back to your time if you disappear from here?" Rebecca asked to understand more about time travel.

"I don't know how I came here, but I had a pocket watch with me and then I thought of the year 1999 and then I was here. Right in front of your car I think. Haha!" Freen laughed.

"It's not funny Freen" Rebecca said sitting in front of Freen.

Freen stood up from the bed, switching on the lights in the room. "I am stuck here Rebecca, I cannot do anything other than laughing at my situation. In future, the time from where I came back here.... I remembered that I wanted to send Becky to past from that moment because someone was attacking on us with gun. I failed to save Becky, because I am here but not Becky. I can still save her, if I can live here till year 2023, but time clearly wants to delete my existence because I am just a glitch in year 1999 that came here from year 2023." In disappointment Freen kicked the bag that Rebecca bought with her when she left her house to sneak into the hospital.

"Freen, calm down. Don't push yourself" Rebecca said.

Freen stared at Rebecca with her hands on her waist and then she smiled "I have an idea Rebecca. You.... I think you can save Becky. Yes!" Freen walked towards Rebecca and held her hand.

"Please help me, help me to save Becky, maybe you can also save me from ever travelling back here in time!" Freen said.

"Freen.... I will do anything you want".

"Thank you" Freen smiled and stood up from bed in excitement.

"I have to tell you everything before I disappear from here as the time starts correcting itself, deleting the unwanted glitch from here" Freen started walking back and forth in the room.

"I am Freen Sarocha Chakimha. My family is a well known family in Thailand, we have several business in several countries. I met Becky when we were small, we met on a beach. Becky is.... I think she is 3-4 years younger than me. Her name is Becky Armstrong. My father name is Kiet Chakimha, we can search for him in this year as well. About Becky, she looks just like you, half Thai and half Brit. My family is very famous, you can easily find them, then find me and then Becky. Someone tried to assassinate us in Italy on my 22nd birthday in the year 2023. You.... Ouch!" Freen tripped on the things that are scattered on the floor whe she kicked Rebecca's bag.

Rebecca ran to check on Freen "Freen are you alright?".

Freen is staring on the floor instead of replying. Rebecca looked at what Freen is staring. Freen is staring at the antique pocket watch that was passed on to her after her parents died. It was her father's most treasured possession because her grandfather passed this to him. Rebecca keep this watch close to her because this helps her in coping with the loss of her parents.

Freen bent down and picked that watch "I travelled to past with this watch Rebecca! Did you found this on me, just like my phone?".

"This is my family heirloom, passed on to me when my parents died. It's just a simple watch Freen. I think you are mistaken." Rebecca tried to snatch that watch away from Freen, but Freen was faster as she moved away to dodge Rebecca's hands.

"It's the same watch Rebecca. I think I can travel back to my time with this!" Freen said looking at Rebecca.

"No Freen, it's an ordinary watch, trust me" Rebecca said.

"Watch me! I will try to travel back to the year 2023!" Freen said as she opened the watch and thought of going back to her time, to the year 2023.
