"Close your eyes," Andy instructed me.

I had just gotten home from work and Andy was super suspicious.  I was not allowed to open my eyes till we got inside.

"What did you do?" was my first question.

"It's an early Christmas gift," Andy told me.

"Christmas is a week away and you couldn't wait?" I chuckled.

"No this is needed before Christmas," Andy told me.

I couldn't comprehend what on green's earth he did this time.

"Ok watch your step. Ok open your eyes," Andy remarked proudly.

I peeled my eyes open.

"Oh my gosh love," I commented.

He had a brand new stereo system set up in the living room. There was brand new shelving for our record collection that we've had since we've been together.

"I told you this couldn't wait till next week," Andy told me as he pushed me toward the new stereo system.

It had two brand-new speakers.  State-of-the-art cassette and vinyl stuff. And, in addition to those, he also got a CD player.

"This is incredible I literally am speechless," I told Andy who was smiling from ear to ear.

"I got it installed while you were at work," Andy replied proudly.

"Wait it even has little labels of where our vinyl collections are at," I remarked.

"Yeah like his and her shelf and then our combined shelf of stuff," Andy told me.

"Thank you for the surprise I cannot even wrap my head around it," I told him as I messed with the stereo stuff.

"I think it was a nice addition to our house," Andy told me.

"It's a beautiful addition to our house," I told him as I kissed his cheek to thank him.

Andy smiled at me.

"I'm glad you like it, darling," Andy told me.

"No I love it," I told him happily.

"I also bought these," Andy remarked as he went and grabbed a bag.

I grabbed it from him and saw a few Christmas records he had snagged.

"When did you get these?" I asked him.

"I snuck by the record store a few days ago while you were at work," Andy told me.

"Did you see Levi?" I asked.

"Yes and he had some of the Mills Brothers stuff for me too," he replied happily.

I smiled.

"Levi is definitely a kind soul," I told him.

"I can't believe he is the last one at the record store," Andy remarked.

"I can't either," I told him as I found a Perry Como Christmas album.

"If I had bet money on it, I would have won," Andy remarked.

I turned my head at him.

"What do you mean?" I asked chuckling as I took the vinyl out and put it on the record player.

"I knew that once I showed you the bag you would pull Perry out to play," Andy told me.

"Well you know me well then," I told him smiling.

"That's my girl," Andy told me kissing the top of my head.

"My girl? That was ADORABLE," I told him.

Andy smiled at me.

"What it's true you are my girl," Andy told me as he kissed my forehead.

"Sheesh we get so mushy," I told him as I dropped the needle on the vinyl.

Perry Como's voice began to encompass the house.

I sighed happily.

"You really love Perry Como don't you?" Andy asked me.

"Yeah I do," I replied smiling.

"Crazy girl," Andy chuckled as he shook his head.

We both went to sit down and enjoy the music blasting through the house.

"Do you like Perry more than Dean-o or Sinatra?" Andy asked randomly.

"Actually I think I like them in that order. Como, Deano- and me. Wait that's not right," I told him.

Andy laughed.

"You are singing a song from that special I did ages ago. "Como, Sinatra and Me," right?" Andy asked chuckling.

"Yeah, I meant to say, Como, Deano then Sintara. Though they are golden classics of Hollywood," I told Andy.

"I think that's cute darling. You never find anyone with good taste anymore," Andy told me.

"I love classics," I replied.

"I know you do. I do too," Andy commented as he readjusted his position on the couch.

He put his legs on the coffee table and looked so relaxed.

"Comfortable now?" I asked teasing.

"Yes. I got my wife next to me and we are enjoying Christmas music together," Andy replied happily.

"The holiday season is the best," I told him.

"Yes it is," Andy told me lovingly as he turned to look at me.

I leaned over to kiss him.

He melted into my touch.

"You're like a snowman melting into my arms," I teased.

"Shut up," Andy told me.

"Gladly," I told him as  I kissed him again.

He smiled into the kiss.

"Mmmm," he hummed against my lips.

I straddled his lap as I looked at him.

"You are a crazy woman," Andy mumbled.

"I am? I never noticed," I alluded as he looked at me.

He took his feet off the coffee table as he held me on top of him.

"Is this how you thank me for the Christmas early gift?" Andy teased.

"Maybe," I teased back.

"I ain't gonna complain," Andy chuckled.

"I know you won't complain," I told him as I looked down.

"Mmmmhmm," Andy sighed happily.

A nice way to spend an afternoon with my husbando.
