Law And Order: SVU One Shots

Amanda and Olivia stood right in front of each other. Both of their faces were red from just finishing a heated argument, but even though Amanda would usually storm out and leave her CO to stew in her office, this time she didn't leave. This time she couldn't take her eyes off of Olivia.

Olivia kept trying to avoid Amanda's eyes, but she couldn't seem to. They were so blue and right there. But both of their issues were fixed when Nick came in.

"Can we call it a night, Liv?" He asked, and Olivia blinked a few times before looking over at him.

"Yeah, just be back in early tomorrow. Around 7." She replied, before stepping back and creating space between herself and Amanda.

Amanda turned around and started to head towards the door, but Olivia's voice stopped her.

"What just happened?" Olivia breathed, and Amanda turned towards her and shrugged.

"I have no idea. Uh, night." Amanda spoke quickly, before leaving her superior's office.

Amanda nor Olivia could sleep that night. Both didn't know what happened, and the confusion seemed unending.

Olivia didn't know if Amanda was just so pissed off she couldn't move, or did Amanda not want to move.

Amanda on the other hand was hoping Olivia would finally kiss her. Something that she's always wanted, even if she hides it well. She has always felt attracted to something about Olivia, and she didn't know if it was her strength or her never ending courage that was so attractive. But she needed to find out, but when and how?

Olivia didn't understand why every night before they called it quits, Amanda would come into her office and pick a fight. Either it was about the case they were working, or about a look or something Olivia absentmindedly gave to Amanda.

"Why do you keep doing this, Rollins? I'm not angry at you! I have a tendency to make facial expressions and sometimes I don't realize that I'm staring at someone when I make them!" Olivia exclaimed, as Amanda passed her office. Olivia was standing behind her desk, leaning against the windows, because she was anxious when she sat and watched Amanda pace.

"Do you like me?" Amanda asked, and Olivia looked at Amanda, completely confused by her question.

"I think you are a great detective." Olivia replied, but that wasn't the answer Amanda was seeking.

"No, I mean do you like me in a way that if I kissed you right now, you wouldn't slap me for it." Amanda replied, passionately.

"Y-you want to kiss me?" Olivia questioned, as she felt her cheeks go red.

"That night we fought about the case, and Nick walked in, I was about to kiss you. I just don't know why I wanted to, but I have always wanted to kiss you." Amanda breathed, as she walked over and closed the door.

"Am-"

"So, do you like me or not? Because right now I just need to know." Amanda interrupted.

"I'm your boss, Amanda." Olivia mumbled, because she didn't know how she felt about Amanda.

"That's all I needed to hear. I guess I'll be going home." Amanda spoke, her voice showing how hurt she was. She wanted Olivia to tell her that she liked her, in a way that made her want to kiss Amanda like Amanda wanted to kiss her.

"Wait for me in the locker room, okay?" Olivia spoke, and Amanda stopped before nodding slowly.

"Okay."

Olivia had a hard time getting up enough courage to go into the locker room, but once she placed her hand to the door nob, and started to turn it, she knew she couldn't go back. 

She opened the door and walked into the room, and sat next to Amanda on the bench.

"Amanda, you are an amazing detective. You are so passionate and caring. I know that you will be an amazing sergeant once you have a few more years under your belt. But what you think you feel for me, isn't real." Olivia spoke, as she ran her hands over her slacks.

"You don't know how I feel, Liv. You never will know how I really feel anymore. I tried to open up to you." Amanda whispered, as she felt her heart break. 

"I know you did, and I told you a million times that you can talk to me about anything, but I guess I didn't really think you'd tell me that you wanted to kiss me." Olivia sighed.

"Sometimes the truth hurts, Olivia." Amanda sighed, as she stood and started to put her jacket on.

"Don't you have feelings for Nick or Carisi?" Olivia questioned, as she kept her head down as she stared at the floor.

"At one point I had feelings for Nick, but I haven't had any in years. And Carisi and I are friends. Strictly." Amanda spoke, as she fixed the collar of her jacket.

"Maybe you'll just be able to push your feelings about me away eventually." Olivia spoke, before she stood and headed towards the door. But Amanda threw all of her fucks out the window and grabbed Olivia by her waist.

She pulled her close and for a few moments, she kissed her.

 It was surreal. The moment they shared was quick but amazing. Neither of them knew what was happening, again, but they didn't care. Amanda left after she finished kissing Olivia, but Olivia was frozen in her spot. She could stop feeling Amanda's lips against her own, and she couldn't help but feel angry. 

She had just let her detective kiss her, and if only Amanda knew she was seeing Tucker. But Olivia didn't even know if she'd continue to see Tucker, because right now, she wanted to run after Amanda.

Amanda was getting into her truck when she heard her name called. She turned and saw Olivia jogging towards her, and Amanda grabbed onto her door and sighed.

"Suspending?" Amanda questioned, but Olivia shook her head.

"Amanda, as a detective I'm curious by nature." Olivia spoke, as she tried to catch her breath.

"Yeah?" Amanda questioned, but then she started to smile when she noticed Olivia staring at her lips.

"What if we tried that one more time... With a little more warning?" Olivia questioned, and Amanda nodded.

She laughed at herself as she stepped forward, because she couldn't help but think that she couldn't disobey orders from her CO.

"What?" Olivia asked, as she stood right in front of Amanda.

"If I said no, I'd be disobeying orders. Kinda thought-" Amanda didn't get to finish because this time Olivia was kissing her.

Oh god, what did I do! I didn't think I'd ever right a one shot involving Amanda and Olivia because I have always tried to have them be best friends, but I did it. No going back now. Please vote and comment all of your feedback below. Thanks :o
