"Why don't you two stay the night here? It's been a long time since our Jeonggukkie back to this family house. Grandma must be happy to know that you'll stay.." the mother projecting her ideas over the dinner.
Jungkook look at her with surprise. She, for all that he remembered, hated him the most for being born into the family. What tricks is she trying to pull this time?
"That's okay for me. How about you?" he turns at Seokjin, with a fake smile on his face.
Seokjin found that his smiles are genuine, immediately agree to his plan. He nods, munching the food in his mouth like a little kid.
"Great. How's the food, Seokjin?" asked the mother, giving her full attention to the son in law.
"Did the maid cooked this?"
"Ah, no. It's me. I cooked them all. My own recipes.." she's smiling happily, expecting a praise from her son in law.
"Oh, it taste like what our maid make in our house."
Pfft! Jungkook hold the laughter.
The lady bite her lips, angry. Her face turns red of embarrassment. Her husband hold her hand under the table, trying to calm his wife.
"Oh, pardon. Did my words hurt you, Mrs. Jeon?" Seokjin put the fork and spoon in the plate, wipe his mouth with the napkin and drink the water.
"No... It's fine.." said the lady, smiling bitterly.
"En. I guessed it wouldn't hurt to know the truth. By the way, have you done, baby?"
Jungkook can't seems to feel at ease everytime Seokjin calling him with that name. It's too intimate for him, since they just meet officially as husbands today.
"I'm done.."
Seokjin look into his plate, he barely touch anything in that plate.
"Alright, let's go to your room."
