Small piece of information before I take over to the update -

Today is the day before the match. (Friday)

Tomorrow is the match (Saturday)

And the day after is the Ball (Sunday)

Due to Jetlag, Cabir was not able to sleep. He was just moving on the bed all the time. He got up and started waking manik up.

"Manik!" he called him.

"Manik ! Yaar..utho na.. mujhe neendh nai aa ri" he again said. But our kumbhkaran was sleeping happily without moving an inch.

He thenkicked him with his leg and Manik woke up with a jerk.

"Yaar tu paagal hain..aisa koi uthaatha hain kya?" Manik was all flustered

"Sorry! Who meine dho baar bulaaya tu nai utha...isi liye all time Cabir techniques use karna padaa...Cha lab uth gaya toh we will go for a walk...mujhe neendh nai aa ri hain" he said.

"Hmm theek hain..Chal" they both went to the garden for a walk.

"Toh Manik how are your classes going on? And Nandini bol rahi thi that you got selected for the basket ball team! That's awesome man..." he said patting Manik's back.

"Haan yaar! And tomorrow there is a macth. I want you and Nandini to come and cheer me...tu aayega na?" Manik asked.

"Of course aaunga"said Cabir with a smile.

While they were walking they heard giggles from somewhere and went in that direction. They were amazed by the scene. Matt, Emily and Nandini were sitting on the grass and having a late night picnic.

"Nandini!" Manik called her in a surprised tone. Lucy, Matt's girl friend was doing something with the grill near by...

"What are you guys doing here at this time?" he asked her.

"Hi manik! It's Lucy's birthday tomorrow. So we were having a small celebration. She will not be there tomorrow as she is also part of the cheer leading team for your match tomorrow. So pre birthday bash" replied Matt.

"That's nice! You know what I have a brilliant idea. Why don't you guys come to the match..I mean Nandini, you and Lucy...We can have fun after the match...and by the way..this is Cabir..my friend. He came today from India" he introduced Cabir to them.

"That's a great idea Manik...Right.. we will surely come" Emily replied.

He noticed that Nandini was calm all the time. He knew something was bothering her. So he decided to ask her what it is.

"Nandini! Guys can you excuse for a moment" he asked them and took her aside.

"Kya hain Manik? You wanted to talk something?" she asked him.

"Yes! Kya hua tumhe? You don't look fine!" he asked cupping her face.

"Nothing Manik... I am completely alright" she tried to convince him but failed.

"Acha ab angel se jhooth huh?" he asked her totally unconvinced by her reply.

"Kuch nai Manik! I am really fine...It's just that Kal mummy pappa ki death anniversary and normally I don't go anywhere tomorrow. But it's the day of your match and I am sorry manik..i don't think I can come" she said sadly.
