"Hi Manik" a girl's voice came from behind. I turned to look who it was. It was Alya. She is like a beauty personified. I mean she is extremely gorgeous. No wonder she was a fantastic designer. She came and hugged Manik.
"Hi Alya! Kaisi ho tum? You never called after I went back... gussa hoon mein" Manik said cutely.
Alya came out of the hug and gave a cute smile to him. "Acha I thought you made a new friend...and by the way what made you come here. It's been not even a month...Kya hain Manik? Did they send you back saying we don't want a prankster/monster like you there" she said.
Manik glared at her, "Alya!!! Aisa kuch nai hain... there's some office work for which I have to be here so aana padaa..And by the way meet Nandini" he said pointing towards me.
She came and hugged me. I was taken aback for a second, "Hi Nandini! It's so nice to see you" she said.
Then I slowly pulled out of her hug and spoke, "Hi Alya! The pleasure is all mine... I mean to see Fab5... Okay to be honest, I don't know about this band and about you all. But when Manik told me about it, I searched for you guys and Man! You guys are awesome... And Alya you look so beautiful... Manik told me that you are beautiful... In fact I have seen your pictures too...but in person.... I must say huh Dhruv is lucky to have a girl friend as beautiful as you... "I spoke continuously.
I realized about it only after seeing everyone's expressions. They were staring at me with big eyes.
"Kya hua? Why are you staring at me?" I asked.
"Alya! It's okay... You'll get used to it. She can speak nonstop forever... That's why thodaa dhyaan se sunna hain so that you don't miss out any questions she asks" Manik said smilingly.
"Manikkkk" I gritted my teeth.
"Okay! Sorry meri Maa.. nai bolunga aisa theek hain" he said side hugging me.
"Hmm" I said.
"Acha where is Navya?" Cabir asked.
"Hum yahaa hain" another girl came wearing a beautiful chudidar. She was carrying a tray with water and juice in her hands.
"Hi Navu... See I thought you'll be missing me isi liye jaldhi aa gaya" Cabir said side hugging her.
"Jhoot bolna koi tum se seekhe Cabir... I know pakka kuch office ka kaam hoga nai toh Manik yaha kyu hoga huh?" she said. Cabri made an ouchhh pakda gaya face.
Manik went and hugged her, "Hello Navya.. How are you?" he asked.
"I am fine Manik... tum kaise ho? How's America? I see you made new friends" she said looking at me.
"Ya this is Nandini. The only Indian girl there" he said introducing me.
After all ther bharat milaap, we sat on the sofas when Manik volunteered to show me the house.
It was a beautiful and simple house. Though it looked huge form outside, the interiors were so elegant.
