Trigger warning: hints of suggestions to rape, slight mentions of gruesome death, mentions of past groping and inappropriate touching

Wouldn't you've guessed it the sides are all girls in this OneShot! Not transgender, however, instead Roman, Patton and Logan are mermaids while Virgil is a born female human

Can you guess which is which? I'll give a quick run-through

Logan is Athena, for reasons quite obvious, as Athena was the Greek goddess of intelligence, and Logan is all about that Logic life

As you already know from a past OneShot, Virgil is Nyx (the Greek goddess (or personification) of the night)

Roman is Desire! (Who would've thunk) - honestly I debated calling him straight up Aphrodite but that would've been a bit on-the-nose, huh? So I called him Desire translated from Eros who is the son of the Greek Goddess of love (I think I mean this Greek mythology can be confusing, man-)

And finally Leto is Patton! Leto was one of the Titanides (female Titans), a bride of Zeus, and the mother of the twin gods Apollon and Artemis. She was the goddess of motherhood

Got that? Okay!

Au

Nyx just about scrambled her way onto one of the lifeboats hanging from the side of the ship that was currently under attack. It was one of the few that hadn't been taken yet, but the reason for that is the other pirates who took the rest were instantly dragged under the water and killed by the creatures looking for a feast.

Under the cover attached to the lifeboat, she covered her ears tight and curled up into a ball underneath the wooden plank that created the bench, shaking while the noises of yelling men filled up the air around her, their screams drowning out under the water. She didn't want to be here - she wasn't even meant to be here, but she had no where else to go where she once lived, and the captain offered to take her to new-found land.

She was stupid. She agreed. Which resulted in her being kept prisoner on the boat for whenever the men needed to 'relax'.

Luckily this attack began before any would've used her. She knew she was going to die that day, all because she didn't want to live on that small island anymore where she wasn't really wanted in the first place. Maybe she deserved this, she hadn't anywhere else to go in the world, it seemed, so why not just die here with the rest of them?

Still, with that lingering thought in mind, she didn't move from her position, finding it incredibly hard to breathe. It felt like minutes were dragging by like hours, and she didn't know if she'd be left alone or if another pirate would try and use this exact boat to get away, maybe he'd use her as bait.

All her thoughts were thrashed out of her mind when she felt her boat suddenly propelling downwards through the air, landing with a splash in the water. It jostled her around and she whacked her head back, darkness consuming her as she passed out to the noises of screams and flesh being torn.

When she awoke she lazily gazed at the side of the boat until her mind slowly whirled to life, and she remembered everything that happened last night. Gasping, she sat up, hitting against the heavy cover but that was the least of her problems. Quickly checking herself over she sighed in relief realising she was okay...she survived, somehow. Maybe they hadn't noticed her for she wasn't actively trying to row the boat away, or whatever the creatures were were too busy with the crew to even care.
