Laugh

You burst out into a relieved laughter, throwing your head back and taking deep breaths. You couldn't help but feel incredibly relieved. And just happy. Probably because you were on some weird adrenaline high right now. But you felt great.

You laughed a lot, placing a hand on your forehead and looking at Missy laughing too.

"Did you tell Ryan to wear a dress?" She asked, making you burst out into an even harder laughter as you nodded your head, unable to speak.

"I thought it would buy us some time" you said between laughter, holding your stomach as you laughed.

"Oh god I would pay to see that! Ryan in a dress!" Missy laughed.

"Imagine him doing drag!" You screeched before literally falling onto the floor in laughter.

"I'll do his makeup!" Missy shouted, raising her hand while laughing and sitting on the ground.

You could feel your face hurting from how much you were laughing as was your stomach. And you tried to take deep breaths to calm down. Elvis was stood there, still looking a little dazed and definitely cautious, looking around a few times as if keeping watch.

Once you finally caught your breath and a lazy smile was playing on your lips as you took in a deep breath. It felt good to have ran like that and gotten everything out of your system again. It had been way too long since you had ran from lasers shooting in your direction. You never thought you would actually miss something like that but this had made you realise just how much you did.

Missy looked over at you as you stared at the ceiling with your back on the floor, breathing lightly.

"That was one nice speech you gave back there" she spoke up, making you smile wider.

"I'll say" Elvis nodded his head in agreement.

"Yeah I guess it was wasn't it" you said gently, thinking back.

"Where did you learn to say something like that?" Missy chuckled lightly.

You shrugged "I guess I've gotten used to the doctors speeches that she always gives me. She's rubbing off on me I think" you giggled "definitely not a bad thing in this case. I guess the situation just brings it out of you. You just say what you think. I know now why the doctor is so good at this. She's been going around for thousands of years giving speeches like that" you said.

"Yeah I guess so." Missy said.

"It just annoys me that so many people think they can do things like this. Like, we're they not taught anything about being civil?! What sort of a society do they live in if not?" You sighed.

"Well they wanted to dissect me apart. All of us actually" Elvis said "do you have any idea why?"

"I'm not sure. Do you have any ideas Missy?" You asked "or was it purely because they find humour in doing things like this?" Your face was one of disgust.

She shook her head a little at that "I don't think so. That equipment...some of it was specialist stuff. Stuff for more delicate procedures. I think there was a meaning and a reason as to why they were doing this. They need our insides for something apparently. That's my theory anyway. All we need to do is find out what it is they want organs and things for" she said.

"Yeah. Let's look around then I guess" you said, sitting up "maybe there's clues right around us and we don't even know it. I think there are, I'm kinda just a little lost here if I'm behind honest" you chuckled lightly.

Missy hummed before getting up and offering a hand to you. You smiled up into her beautiful blue eyes before taking her warm hand. Her hand was soft inside yours and seemed to fit perfectly against yours. She helped pull you up and you couldn't help but stare at her and gaze in admiration. She looked really good in that suit.

"Should we call the doctor?" Elvis asked, bring you back down to earth and turn to look at him "maybe he...she can help with this" he said "I think it would be nice seeing him again. Her! Gosh this is hard to get around my head."

"No" Missy said immediately "we don't need the doctor. Plus we're sorting a whole date night for her and her girlfriend"

"Yeah that's why we wanted to get you. To perform and be a surprise. But we basically just want this night for the two of them to be perfect. They don't need to be dragged into this." You told him.

"And Anyways, we don't need her" Missy smiled proudly "we're perfectly fine on our own"

"Oh, and don't get mad that two girls are dating. I don't know how people in the past used to take that kind of thing" you said quickly to Elvis.

He just shrugged, shaking his hand and waving his hand about at you.

"You don't need to worry about me. I'be seen incredible things with the doctor. I guess it's opened my eyes. But I don't judge" he smiled.

You stared to walk around the ship, as if something about organs would pop up at you and tell you what was going on.

"So, what does the doctor look like now?" Elvis asked.

"She's a woman!" Missy exclaimed proudly "she's blonde, hazel eyes"

"She's kind" you chipped in "always kind. And she wears weird clothes. But we're getting her into a suit for tonight. Like the one Missy's wearing. And Yaz into a dress. That's kinda why we're all dressed up" you told him.

"Oh, makes sense. So, what do you want me to sing?" He asked.

"Pick a song and surprise us" you shrugged "but make sure it's a nice love song. They better slow dance tonight"

Elvis nodded his head and took everything in making mental notes of what to do. You walked around the ship for a while, making sure no one would see you. But it seemed like nothing was there.

"This isn't getting us anywhere" you mumbled.

Missy paused for a moment before narrowing her eyes as if she was thinking deeply about something.

"Hold on...I think I've just figured this out.." she said.
