13th Doctor x reader (3rd book)

Huddle

You had all finished dinner and were getting aquatinted with several of the workers in this place. Though the doctor still wanted to have a proper chat with Allura's parents. Allura was having a blast just listening to all of your adventures. And you also loved to hear it too.

Sometimes the doctor would talk about some adventures she went on with you, and you couldn't help but smile a little when she did. It brought back me worked that just made you feel great. The memories came back and you just felt like you were back there again, with everyone on those planets.

You decided to follow the doctor when Allura left the room. She gestured for you all to gather around. You got into a small crowd with all of you shuffling together. The doctor dipped her head a little like she was about to tell you all some secret. Though you knew she was about to formulate and tell you all some plan. An incredible plan that she always somehow managed to come up with.

Though while you were all gathering around, you couldn't help but feel your anxiety pick up and spike at certain times. Like when someone got too close to you that wasn't Missy. You had to move away from them by instinct, flinching away violently and taking a few steps in the opposite direction to keep a distance between you and them. You didn't want to make contact, you knew one small touch and you would have ended up screaming your lungs off in fear. And that was the last thing you wanted to do. To make a scene and make a fool out of yourself in this grand place. On your first adventure back...

Angel noticed as soon as you did that, and you could see her eyes getting upset at that. And there was also some thought going on in that head of hers, you could see it.

She also furrowed her brows further when seeing you move closer to Missy for comfort. You reached to hold her hand, your heart calming down when you felt her make contact, her while being close to you making you feel better. She always helped. She was the only person you could make contact with and not feel so afraid with. In fact, it was utterly and completely the opposite affect.

"Okay" She whispered to herself after a few moments of thinking.

You frowned in confusion at that "what?" You questioned her, furrowing your brows at her.

She snapped her eyes back up to yours before clearing her throat quickly, realising she had been staring like a weirdo. Time traveler who was obsessed with you and Missy creepy weirdo.

"Oh nothing!" She quickly said "I was just...putting into my head the time line of where we were up to...of where..you were up to. Where you're up to with the whole contact thing..."

"Yeah it..depends on people and situations in my life at the moment" you mumbled to her.

"I know" Angle said with the nod of her head before raising her hands a little "you don't have to explain everything to me though. I already know, and I understand." She told you.

You nodded your head at that before frowning again in confusion when she started to move closer to you, shuffling closer. You were confused when you didn't feel that internal, immediate fear inside you that you always did with anyone else. In fact, it was almost like when you were with Missy, you weren't so afraid. You didn't mind her being close or making contact. It was like you could trust her. And even though you didn't know who she was, you knew you could trust her somehow. And for some reason there was this familiarity about her. You really wanted to know who she was.

"Who are you?" You asked her quietly, staring at her.

Missy was also listening in and assuming my thinking about the exact same thing you were because she asked that too not a second after you did.

"Yeah I'd like to know that too. Who are you?" She asked.

Angel smiled a little before looking between you both and then shrugging.

"Someone very important to you both especially in the future" she smiled in response, making you only feel even more confused.

You sighed a little before shrugging and focusing your attention back to the doctor. And of course, you couldn't help but smile a little when Angel's shoulder bumped with yours a little and you didn't even flinch. You weren't scared at all. She felt exactly like Missy...only different too..It was hard to explain.

"Okay" the doctor whispered, looking around to make sure no one was coming back and seeing you all planning against them like this "I told you all about the suspicions I have going on here"

"You didn't tell me" Angel said, raising a hand, making Yas laugh in response.

"Well, Allura's parents have suddenly gone incredibly busy for no reason. Nothing seems to have changed with the running of this place and so something just seems off. I want to find out what's happening here. Even Allura herself hasn't seen hero older brother, next in line, in over a week! Somethings definitely wrong here" the doctor explained.

"That does sound a bit fishy" Missy said.

"When you say it like that I start to worry about him" Angel added.

"Exactly. That's why I want to find the parents. Find the parents, find him. And hopefully we figure out what's going on here. Because...I get a feeling that there's just...a little..I don't know...alien shimmers going on.." the doctor said.

"I did too!" Angel smiled widely "especially with the parents. Not sure what it exactly is though"

"I thought I was just going a little crazy" Missy laughed a little "then again I'm always crazy"

"That's because you're all time ladies" you rolled your eyes "you have superpowers"

"I wouldn't call it that but..okay" Missy smiled.

You smiled back at her before replying with "I'd call it superpowers" you whispered before kissing her cheek.
