Caught

"I'm going to go take a shower" Missy whispered after a few moments.

You had been laying just smiling and watching each other for a few moments. You really couldn't believe your luck. You just couldn't help but admire Missy's beautiful face and her features. And you couldn't help but feel amazing and just..loved right now. You hadn't felt like this in a long time.

"Okay. I think I'm gonna lay down for a little while longer" you smiled at her while she quickly leaned forward and gave your cheek a quick peck, making a quick rush of heat come to your face.

She got up from the bed, getting out from under the covers. Your cheeks got even redder as you started to stare at her beautiful body, grinning a little to yourself while she walked over to the en-suite bathroom. You let your eyes run over her body before smiling happily. You were the luckiest person in the universe.

You sighed a little when she closed the door behind her and you heard the water turn on. You turned around so you were on your back, putting your arms behind your back calmly and closing your eyes.

You felt so in content. Things felt..good for once. You hadn't felt like this in too long. Just everything that was happening. Feeling this connection with someone, touching someone, making contact, being back. Back at the TARDIS. Back in this familiar place that was always home to you in your heart. The place where the people you cared about the most were.

You started to relax a little more getting comfortable. You felt like you could drop off at any second and you were about to fall back asleep. You hadn't even slept like this before in years. You weren't afraid about having nightmares or not being able to fall asleep and just staring into the darkness all night. You weren't laying in a bed which felt all too big and too cold in it by yourself. Nor were you with someone you didn't feel safe with...

Just as you were getting comfortable, the door of Missy's room burst open, causing you to snap your eyes open. You quickly screamed in shock and surprise before pulling the covers over to cover your body as fast as you could.

There stood Yaz in shock who was also screaming slightly, quickly closing her eyes and covering them with her hands. You held the covers up before glaring at her.

"What the hell Yaz!" You screeched.

"What! You're the one lying there naked!" She screamed before lowering her hands slowly and peeling cautiously before breathing a small sigh of relief.

"(Y/n)? Is everything alright?!" Missy called from the shower, obviously having heard your screams.

"Yeah...Yaz just walked in" you sighed in annoyance, making sure to cover yourself fully, practically hugging the covers to your chest.

"Wait?! Yaz!" Missy called in confusion and slightly annoyance.

Yaz suddenly started to laugh her head off, throwing her head back and cackling, holding her stomach.

"You two went at it!" She shouted, making a rush of heat go to your cheeks, and you knew they were a deep shade of red.

"Listen...I..I mean...it's not what it looks like..well actually...umm..." you trailed off a little, unable to stutter out the words as you felt the embarrassment start to rise, your face burning.

"You two fucked!" She screeched "like damn about fucking time. You two must have been sexually frustrated as hell!" She snorted, hardly able to hold herself up.

Just then the en-suite door opened and you looked over, seeing Missy with a towel around her, her hair still wet and dripping as she glared at Yaz.

"What are you doing in here?!" She sneered angrily, instinctively walking over to you and wrapping her arm around you.

"The doctor just wanted to check up on (y/n). She went to her room but I knew she would be in your room. I mean, you're girlfriends now! She was sleeping in your room before and so it was bound to happen again" she shrugged, laughing a little at that.

You felt like your cheeks were burning, looking down and biting your lip in embarrassment. You were keeping sure that you were covered completely. It was your first time doing anything like this with Missy, and you really didn't want anyone to walk in on you! You never wanted anyone to walk in, but especially today!

"Don't you know how to knock Yaz!" Missy snapped angrily, tightening her arm around you.

"Hey I didn't expect you to be naked!" Yaz laughed, gripping her stomach "then again you guys have been wanting to do this pretty much since you met huh" she smirked, wiggling her eyebrows cheekily.

You couldn't be more embarrassed. You had no words and your throat was dry. You couldn't even look in Yaz's direction without feeling like your face was bursting into flames. You just wanted to put on some clothes. And you were glad Missy was there next to you so that you didn't have to talk or speak. You felt way too awkward to be able to even move.

"Okay you can leave now" Missy said, glaring at her.

"Okay, okay" Yaz laughed "I hope you guys asked to move your room away. You do know that the others might be able to hear you if you're too close.." she sniggered.

Missy rolled her eyes before moving towards her like she was about to physically drag her out of the room. And you were dying of embarrassment, feeling like digging a big hole and hiding in it, never to come out again.

"Okay I'm leaving!" Yaz quickly said with a snort before walking out of the room, not before winking at you both with a thumbs up and closing the door behind her.

You sighed before looking up. Though once the sheet embarrassment of being caught like that passed, you couldn't help but smile. You missed this...in a weird way. All of this. Even Yaz's annoying teasing. This really was home.
