Laughing

You groaned in pain, your head hammering like hell and hurting you terribly. You felt like you were having the worst hang over you had ever had. Actually...you had had worse before.

"(Y/n)" you heard the doctor call out for you in a concerned voice.

You tried to pull your hand to rub at your aching head but we're stopped pretty suddenly when some chains pulled your hand right back. You raised your brows in surprise before looking back and realising you were chained to the wall. You were sat on the ground with your head resting against the wall and both arms secured tightly.

You couldn't help but laugh. You threw your head back a little and started to laugh loudly into the air in front of you, amusement filling you inside. You felt like you could barely even think of anything other than how stupidly funny this all was. You were kidnapped...again!

"Why are you laughing? Are you okay? You're not hurt are you? Any injuries?" The doctor called out to you desperately.

She was stood beside you, looking down at you with worry. You just shook your head in response to her questions while trying to slow down your laughter. Your cheeks were hurting because of how much laughter was happening.

"Why is it that every single time I go somewhere I end up being knocked unconscious?" You asked with a laugh, your stomach hurting so much because of your laughter and utter amusement to the situation "I mean it's like these aliens have something for knocking me out cold. It's literally been three places in a row!" You giggled stupidly "this is so dumb! How the fuck have I not got some kind of brain damage or some shit because of this?! This ain't normal...I've been knocked out so many times!"

You couldn't stop laughing. Maybe you were on something like that chemical or whatever was in that gust of wind to knock you out, and that was what had you laughing crazily like this. But you just felt so giddy right now. You couldn't believe this happened to you again! What were the chances!

"And the best part is.." you could barely get it out between your laughter before you looked at the doctor "this had to happen the one time I do as I'm told!"

You couldn't help but practically die of laughter at that. You never expected this to have happened because of doing as you were told. The whole thing was just so funny to you and you swore you were high on something right now.

"Okay...this wasn't what I was hoping would happen.." the doctor grumbled "but that doesn't mean you don't do as you're told in the future okay!" She said sternly.

This only seemed to set you off even more, until you were in some crazy laughing fit. Like hell you were ever going to do as you were told. It didn't seem to matter anyways, no matter what you did, someone up there wanted you to be out cold every time.

"Come on Doctor, loosen up" you laughed "don't you find this whole thing ironically amusing" you sniggered.

"Have you taken something?!" The doctor snapped, looking at you like you were crazy.

You shook your head between laughter "Nope! Apart from whatever knocked me out. Knocked you out too. Okay, I'm gonna try and get up.." you said, your laughter dying down.

Your stomach was hurting from all that laughing and you found it only more difficult and challenging to get up because of this. Especially because of being chained up from behind to the wall. This whole place felt cold and not nice to be in. It was also quite dark. This felt like some kind of dungeon.

You struggled to get up, biting your lip in difficulty before forcing your legs to push you up. You really needed to try and do some kind of exercise. You were struggling to stand up right now! Though to be fair you had never had to without the help of your arms before.

You eventually got up, though with some difficulty and pain with the chains pulling at your wrists. It didn't help that there was probably going to be a bruise or something there now. Your wrists was not the place you wanted any harm to happen. Too much had already happened there.

"So...what now?" You asked with a small sigh, your head pounding horribly.

"I'll get us out of here" the doctor said confidently, and you saw her moving about.

"How?" You asked before taking some deep breaths, feeling like crap.

"I'll figure something out just...don't panic okay" she told you.

"I'm not panicking" you told her before you furrowed your brows "how...how long have you not had your jacket?!" You asked suddenly.

She sighed "I left it in the TARDIS" she muttered.

You raised your brows in surprise "including everything inside it! Like the sonic!" You exclaimed.

She sighed before nodding her head and you cursed under your breath before shaking your head. You felt yourself start to laugh at how stupid this was again.

"And you're telling me not to panic" you laughed "why did I have to listen to you? It's even worse than when I do wander off!"

"Hey! That's not true!" The doctor pouted, making you laugh even more.

"Seriously! Doctor look at us! We're in some creepy dungeon all locked up with no way of escaping and no way of calling the others. I mean what's going to happen when they find out we're missing?" You exclaimed.

"Yas will freak..." she whispered to herself, before biting her lip nervously.

Your eyes widened in realisation "Missy will freak"

The doctor make eye contact with you at that, the both of you realising how much trouble you were in. You started to struggle a lot more before you saw something moving in the corner of your eye again.

You paused and looked ahead, narrowing your eyes before gulping. There was a dark figure standing a few meters away from you both.
