Dieter was a giant of a man but that hadn't bothered Storm although the German would have easily towered over King Theinsak's guards. In fact, the blonde had been rather fatherly as he motioned for the young king to wait as they approached the small white house long before dawn.

"No one but us will see you so you should be able to move about freely. Aside from Frey and Freya, none of us have had access to the house.

It shouldn't be too difficult to return Lanecea's soul to her body. That's not my worry. From what I've heard tonight, she's had it pretty bad since the last time I saw her. You're probably going to be in for a shock... One more thing...it's illegal in this country to get married so young. Oh, I'm probably not saying this right. Let me try again. If you don't want to get into trouble, keep your cock away from her."

Before Dieter could say another word, Frey propelled the young king through the crowd and then up a narrow flight of wooden stairs.

Lanecea paled, pausing just outside a bedroom door on the left before leading her companions to the room directly across, the wooden door slightly ajar.

A girl lay on her stomach, the bedsheets tangled around her ankles.

"That's me," Lanecea explained just in case Storm was wondering before turning her attention to Freya. "What if I can't get back?"

"It will work. Separating you from your body is harder. It really just will take some getting used to, I'm sure. Just relax and focus on her. We are going to be right here and Storm is staying by your side as well. We won't let anything happen to you."

Lanecea met Storm's eyes and whatever she saw within them appeared to visually reassure her before she looked back down at her body. Rubbing her temples, Lanecea did her best to empty her mind but that was an impossible feat.

Storm watched for a moment, unsure how to help. Grinning as an idea dawned on him, Storm excused himself as he stepped around Frey before crouching down at Lanecea's side. Without hesitation, he tenderly brushed her hair away from her pale cheek, giving those in the room an unobstructed view, then tasted Lenacea's parted lips, before deepening the kiss.

Unable to feel her king's kiss, Lanecea's soul gasped as a pang of jealousy tugged at her heart, then, just like that, her soul returned to her body. Storm's laughter was captured by her eager mouth as Lanecea's second soul took over, eager to make up for the brief moments she'd missed out on.

"I'll give you two some privacy," Freya laughed as she reached for her brother's hand, leading him away from the bedroom.

"I'm not going anywhere. Relax," Storm reassured his queen when she winced, fully merged with her body once more.

Storm trailed his fingertips cautiously over the wounds her mother had left, realizing why the demi-gods had risked everything for this girl. Lifting his head from her kiss-swollen lips, Storm shifted in the narrow bed before his lips and tongue replaced his fingertips.

"Oh, that feels so divine! Thank you so much for caring for me."

Storm smiled at Lanecea's choice of words. Of course, his mouth would feel divine but his smile disappeared just as quickly. Who wouldn't care for her?

"We can't have you feeling all crummy now, can we?" Storm whispered in the darkness, before continuing to lick each mark until her body was restored.

"You're magic..." Lanecea sighed, at a loss for better words.

"And you're tired. Go to sleep. No one will hurt you again," Storm promised, lifting Lanecea onto his chest before holding her in place.

"Thank you, My King. Goodnight," Lanecea whispered in the darkness before falling asleep on top of his heart, her body melting all over Storm's leaking scepter.
