"Are you doing alright?"

Félix is at my side in an instant. He places one hand on my back to support me, as well as gently grabbing one of mine to soothe me.

Being pregnant is awful, y'all. I understand that it has to be done in order to get mini humans, but it's just bad for me. Maybe I'll have a different opinion if I have another child.

I sit in a chair as Félix kneels next to me. He hands me a cup of my favorite tea.

I inhale deeply before taking a few sips.

"Thank you, but I don't need anything right now."

I give him a kiss on the cheek before drinking more tea.

I'm glad to have Félix in my life again.

I yell in pain as the contractions get worse. I refused pain meds, and I have no idea why, so now I'm just suffering here.

The only thing to distract me from current events is Félix. He's trying to be as soothing as possible. It looks like it pains him to see me in this much pain.

I reach out with a shaky hand and pull him close. I kiss him on the lips.

"Don't worry. After this, we'll all be happy."

Félix nods, and I think I actually see tears welling up in his eyes.

"Your cervix has just dilated to 10 centimeters, I need you to push, (Y/N)."

I yell out as a sharp pain forms in my abdomen. That contraction was the worst of them yet.

Félix lightly pats away any sweat on my face. I gently squeeze his hand as thanks, only to immediately crush it as my pain levels spike.

Soft fingers start to rake through my hair. Félix starts to hum my favorite song.

It does help me a bit, until another sharp pain steals my attention.

"The head is nearly out. Push!"

Tears stream down my eyes as I barely nod. I grunt and clench my teeth as I push even more.

After a few good pushes, I finally feel good inside.

Well, all the endorphins finally decided to show up and help with the pain. I don't mind, I feel like I'm in a dream right now.

"It's a boy!"

After the umbilical cord is cut and the baby is swaddled, I am handed my baby.

He looks almost identical to Félix! I cry tears of joy as I pull him closer to me. I look up at Félix with tears in my eyes.

"Let's name him after you. Félix Jr."

Félix smiles as I let him hold the baby. He blindly reaches out and grabs Félix's nose with his tiny hands.

"Félix Jr... I like that."
