*Dans point of view*

I got out of the car after Phil. We got to the cabin at midnight. It was beautiful.

It was huge, it had wooden panels all around and woods everywhere. In front was a porch with a hammock and there was an orange homely glow everywhere.

Phil's family walked ahead and he walked up to my right.
"Isn't it nice?" He sighed happily.
"It's amazing." I said following him inside.

"Ok, so Dan you can sleep with Phil." Phil's mum said to me, Martyn was already in his room.

I looked around the room we were in. It was a  living room with huge windows and-
"Come on Bear." Phil said grabbing my hand and dragging me along.
"Coming Love." I giggled.

He dragged me up half the stairs and then let go of my hand, I was kind of... sad that he let go.
"You had to call me Love." We smirked with a blush.
"Yeah, I had to make it convincing." I giggled also blushing.

We walked into our room and again, I looked around. It was a master room with a cabin look.

After about an hour of browsing the internet Phil and I went to sleep. It wasn't too awkward, we've slept together before.

That morning I woke up to Phil whisper yelling my name and him slapping my shoulders.
"What?!" I whisper yelled.
"My mom made us breakfast in bed." He whispered, my eyes widened.

I scooted closer to Phil and we made it look like we were cuddling. The door opened.
"Sorry to bother you, but you didn't come out to breakfast, so we'd thought we'd bring it to you!" Phil's mum smiled, as did his dad.
"Aww thanks mum." I saw Phil smile.

She handed us our breakfast and left. I let go of a breath I didn't know I was holding in.

I sat across from Phil and we both started to eat.
"When did you wake up?" I asked taking a bite of toast.
"When my mum was knocking on the door." Phil laughed.

Phil's dad opened the door.
"I forgot to tell you two, today were gonna take the pictures. Ok, sorry bye." He shut the door. I looked at Phil whose eyes were wide.

"Oh no." He whispered.
"What?" I asked.
"The pictures are something that only partners do. We walked way out into the woods to a special tree and then partners kiss."
"So we have to..."
"Yup."
"Oh no."

After having a silent breakfast Phil spoke.
"Do you think we should... practice?" Phil was looking down and blushing scarlet. I felt heat rise to my cheeks.
"I guess..." I scooted forward to Phil.

Phil started to lean forward. I grabbed his cheeks and pulled his lips to mine. I felt his arms go around my waist. The kiss was... amazingly awkward.

We both pulled away and looked into each other's eyes.
"That was... weirdly.. good." Phil giggled.

I don't know why, but I burst out laughing. I laid on Phil's shoulder.
"Oh god I can't breath." I laughed, Phil was laughing too.

After we finally stopped laughing we got up and got ready.

After I finished Phil's mom pulled me aside.
"Hey, I just wanted to say thank you. I've never seen Phil so happy. He's so in love, I can see it when he looks at you. He's never looked at anyone like that." She smiled at me.
"I.." I was about to tell her that I wasn't making a difference. That he looks at everyone like that. But then, I just didn't. "Of course."

I sat in the living room and waited for Phil. He walked out and Martyn sat next to me.
"Man, I can't believe you and Phil finally got together. You know, he talks about you all the time. He never admitted it, but I think he's like you for a long time, like before you met. He was crushing on you right away." He chuckled.
"Really? You think Phil likes me that much?" He smiled.
"I don't think he likes you, I think he loves you." He said. "Because, he looks at you the way Cornelia looks at me."

Phil came out and finished buttoning his top. He was wearing a black and red plaid flannel that looked amazing on him. He ran his fingers through his raven hair, that meant he was nervous. I could tell with his eyes too.

Unlike their usual bright sky blue, his eyes were a dark blue, like the deepest part of the ocean. There was only a small amount of it, but if you looked close enough, just around the pupil was a dark green, like the trees leaves outside.

"And you love him too." I heard Martyn say behind me, my cheeks heated up.
"What I-"
"You look the same way, and you're blushing." He smirked and bounced up.

"Ready?" Phil asked wiping his palms on his thighs and then holding out his hand.
"Yup." I said grabbing his hand to help me up.

On the walk there I couldn't help but think about what Martyn and Phil's mum said earlier. Did Phil really love me? I mean in other than a friend way. And when he said I looked the same way. What does that mean?
"You alright?" Phil asked nudging me.
"Yeah." I said snapping my head up.
"After this there's a mini golf place near here we could go to." He said watching the ground in front of him.
"Yeah sure, I mean if you want to lose." I smiled looking over at him.
"You're on Howell." He squinted his eyes.

"I mean I am the best at mini golf." I said.
"I was born on a mini golf turf." Phil smirked.
"I was conceived on a mini golf turf." I smirked back.
"My mums a mini golf turf." He smiled.
"Phil, your mum is right there." I said pointing to her.
"Oh yeah." He giggled.

As we looked up everyone stopped. We stopped to realizing why. This must've been the stop. I could see why.
The tree was somehow shaped into a heart.

"Ok Martyn and Cornelia are going first." Phil's mum said taking out her camera.

"Oh jeez, you ready?" Phil asked looking at me. This time his eyes had no sign of green, only dark blue. His pupils were huge... I swear that means something?

Phil and I stood in front of the tree. I put my hands around his cheeks and his went around my waist. We went in for the kiss. That time, instead of it being awkward... it was crazy.

Our lips fit together perfectly. They moved in sync. It felt like forever. I forgot about everything, including the fact that we were pretending. There was no words to describe the kiss, other than: perfect.

We looked over to find everyone walking back. I guess we took too long. Phil and I, whose faces were bright red smiled at each other.

As we were walking along Martyn turned around and mouthed the words, I told you so. And I couldn't help but think, maybe he was right.
