I freeze as the car skids to a halt. Logan's car had spun out and slammed against a wall, spinning and skidding to a halt on the track. The race was red flagged and that's when we all held our breath. "Logan? Logan? Are you alright?" No answer. I didnt know how to react. How do you react in a situation like this? I wouldn't know. As the onboard camera was shown, his helmet moved from side to side. I let out a sigh of relief to know he was at least moving. The team picks up a radio to contact marshalls to see the condition he's in, leaving my heart skipping beat after beat.

A crew member walks over to me and sits me down. "He's okay. He's a little shaken up and he's...well angry so don't take it too hard if he just ignores you." I nod and look to the TV to watch Logan walking into the medical car to get back. After a minute or so, he got out and walked towards the prema tent. I walk towards him to try and hug him, comfort him, anything but he shrugs me away. "Logan-" I whisper. "Not now. I need to- I just need to think or something." and with that, he walked away as quick as he walked in.

Hours passed and no one heard anything about Logan. He didn't do media or anything. He just stayed in his room. He's never just walked by me before. What was so special about this race in particular? "You should get him. The track is closing now." a voice says tearing me from my thoughts. I look up and see Oscar standing before me with his bag slung over his shoulder. "Oscar. He's not gonna want to see me or listen. Couldn't someone else?" I beg but no. He insisted. I nod my head in defeat and walk to where Logan said he would be. Knock, knock. No answer. Knock, knock. Nothing again. Knock- "Quit knocking! I'll be there in a second!" he shouted, making me jump. As he said he would, he answered. There he stood, sleepy eyed and still in a bad mood. "Oh. It's you" he mumbled. "Oh. It's just me." I reply.

"What's up? How'd the others do?" he walked away, leaving the door open for me to come in. "The track is closing now so we need to go." He throws things into his bag. "No. I asked for the track to stay open for an extra hour or two after the tracks closing time was." My head tilts to the side in confusion. Why? That's the only thing that went through my head. "Okay well I'm going to go back to the hotel. Are you okay to get a lift back or would you prefer if I'd stayed?"

"Could you stay?" I nod my head and sit down. "Do you want to go on a track walk?" I'd never been on the actual track before so this was a pleasant surprise. "Sure. Any particular reason?" He shrugged his shoulders. "You said before you would like to go on the track so I just...asked the FIA to keep the trcak open and extra hour so we could walk around for a bit." My heart melted. How sweet!

"Are you ready to go?" I nod and walk with him hand in hand out to the track. We're about halfway walking around when he stops and sits on the track. "Are you okay or do your legs hurt babe?" He looks around and points to the sunset. "I'm looking at the sunset. Are you going to join me or keep walking?" I answer his question by lowering myself to sit down and laying my head on his lap. I look up to him smiling down at me. "What?" He looks away into the distance, still with the smile on his face. "You're something special. You never get frustrated with me, it's like you understand how it feels. You put yourself into my shoes. You're just perfect."

I smile at his compliments. "Well that's what you are supposed to do before you yell or get angry at somebody. I understand how frustrating it can be when you work so hard all week for the best possible result in qualifying only for it to be cut short in the race. You always tell me how it feels and I've remembered everything you've told me." He plays with my hair as I speak.
