Amydiaz99 thank you for the request hope you enjoy x

You gulped down your drink prepared to leave after this drink. You were invited to your sister Ella's wedding and that was only part of the problem. She was Marrying your ex boyfriend Keith. You and Keith were childhood sweethearts and you started dating aged 13 and it lasted up until he broke up with you for your bloody sister. They only met at the end of last year and now they were married in August 2020 at only 20 years old. How the hell do they figure it out that quick? Oh and to make the situation even more horrible, they were expecting a baby. You sat at the bar drinking your life away refusing to engage in the celebrations. You didn't exactly care anymore you were just angry at the fact that Ella saw how much it hurt you that he left and had the audacity to not only date but also marry and be impregnated by the man who hurt her sister.

As the night passed you felt less and less sober but not quite drunk. You weren't exactly light weight and you knew how to handle drink so you didn't mind. I y took a lot to get you drunk. You felt a presence beside you making you turn to see the mysterious person who came up to you. There stood a boy with dark brown, almost black hair and a pair of eyes to match. "So are you a friend or family member?" he asked. An Australian accent. Maybe. You weren't the best with accents when you were sober so you sure as hell weren't going to be any better now. "Sister of the bride." You chugged your drink and slid the empty glass back over to the bartender. "Oh. So you're his ex?" You clenched your jaw and chewed your lip before nodding slowly. "He's a dickhead. Who are ypu here with?" He really was a chatty person but unfortunately, you weren't in the mood for talking. "I came alone actually."

"You're here alone? That's crazy. So am I." He looked down to my drink. "I'll have whatever she has." You turned around to face him fully and take in his features. A drinking buddy. How lovely. "I hope you don't mind me asking but why are you here talking to me?" His drink arrived and he took a sip. "Well, I- What the hell?" he spat out his drink. "Is this what you're drinking? That's knee deep in tequila." You chuckled lightly which was probably the first time you smiled in a month. "Here, you C a n have it. I'll just get a beer." You took the drink and brought it over in front of you. "You didn't answer my question."

"Oh. I'm the groom's cousin and I saw you by yourself, all on your lonesome so I figured I would come and see what you were up to since I am alone as well." A smile creeps upon your face. "Well you're the first person that has actually come up and asked how I was instead of disregarding me and shrugging me off." He looked at you with pity in his eyes. He could only imagine how it must feel to have your ex marry your sibling. "I'm sorry to hear that Ms..." You gulped. "Y/n. I'm Y/n." You reached your hand out to take his and shake it. "Oscar. So are you going to sit here all night or can we go out and have fun?" You both turned and had a look out to the venue. They may as well have been dead. "Let's go liven it up a bit." You finished your last drink in a swig and pulled him to the dj. "What song should we get on?" You asked.

"Let's do a Backstreet Boys tribute." You nodded. "How about I Want It That Way?" Your eyes lit up as you both requested that song to be played. You awaited the song to be played and blasted as loud as possible. Oscar pulled you to the dance floor and began dancing. This caught the attention of many people including the newly wedded couple who to say the least, weren't impressed but you couldn't give less of a shit. This was the happiest you had been in a long time. "Sorry in advance!" He shouted over the music. "I'm probably gonna stand on your feet or something." You kicked off your shoes and urged him to do the same so you could skid up and down the waxed floor.

You were having so much fun, you completely forgot you were at a wedding and didn't notice your sister making her way over to you until. Whack! And you found yourself on the floor with a stinging feeling to your cheek. You look back up and see your sister crying and shouting. "You ruin everything! This was my day but no! I can't have anything!" You didn't move, you just sat there. You couldn't care at this point. Here's to being at the bottom again. Oscar grabbed your hands and pulled you back up. "Oscar! This si my ex! Why the fuck are you flirting?" You snapped your head over to Keith yelling at Oscar. "It's not flirting. It's called having manners and accepting people." Then he got a whack from Keith. "You only ever go for the desperate ones anyway." You had it. You don't know what came over you but you just punched Keith back making him stumble back. "That was for Oscar." You kicked his stomach. "And that was for me." You return back to Oscar grabbing his arm to help him back up. "Come on, were gonna go." How had you just met this guy twenty minutes ago? He felt like your best friend.

The atmosphere was tense while you were awaiting a taxi. "Well that shows how much they fucking cared." You mumbled. He turned around. "You just punched the groom." He chuckled. "Yeah. That felt good." You both laughed at the image. "Your eye isn't looking the best. Should we go to the hospital or something?" Oscar shook his head. "No. Let's just go get Chinese food. Do you want to sit in?" You thought about it. "No. We'll go back to mine and watch netflix or something." He nodded. "Okay. You don't have a spare bedroom do you?" You shook your head. "Sleep in my bed. I'll take the couch." The taxi pulled up and you both climbed in. "No. Well just have a sleepover on the couch. It'll be easier and minimise movement." You giggled and turned to the driver. "Wow. You look like you've had a rough night." He commented. "You have no idea."
