Naruto sneezed as he and Temari walked across the desert of Kaze No Kuni it had been a week since they had left the first town and things for the better term could have been better.

Each town they had visited had after the first one had pretty much the same story that a large group of bandits had come and destroyed their homes and lives with no one reporting it. Of course there where some towns better off but it was pretty much the same story and each time Temari would get angrier and angrier.

Naruto couldn't help but frown...even now when he was travelling with Temari he still felt lonely of course he and Temari talked to one another, argued with one another and on rare occasions laughed with one another however it didn't feel the same as it had with Izumi and he couldn't help but feel that way. Somehow he would occasionally compare Temari with Izumi by thinking what Izumi would have done instead or how she would have done it better.

He knew he shouldn't do it...but he couldn't help it on several occasions when he had heard Temari tell him to get up or hurry up he would sometimes almost say 'I'm coming Izumi' he always stopped himself though before saying it however her name was always at his lips though.

He honestly did want to help Temari as she hadn't completely side tracked from her mission which was to help him as she would follow Naruto to anyplace that caught his eye even if she did show her annoyance in doing so.

"Up ahead" Naruto heard Temari say and he could see the town in front of him burning with black smoke coming out of it. Nodding to Temari the two ran towards the town and they noticed several bandits hanging outside the entrance.

"Hey...what's th-" The bandit was cut off courtesy of Naruto slicing his head off with his wind armor activated around his left arm making his body fall to the ground.

Quickly dashing forward Naruto impaled his hand through another bandits chest before pulling out his hand showering the area with blood, seeing another bandit run at him with a katana out Naruto sliced the blade in half before grabbing the bandits head and crushed it, then chucked him into the wall surrounding the town splattering him onto it in a shower of blood.

"A bit slow aren't we?" Naruto asked looking to his side to see Temari finally catch up with him she frowned slightly at how fast Naruto actually was not even Gaara would have been able to travel that fast however she quickly reminded herself that this was the man who had been able to keep up with the Raikage the fastest man on the planet.

"Shut up..." Temari muttered before looking around at the mess Naruto had made she was used to seeing so killings from being a Kunoichi and the sister of Gaara she had seen Gaara kill people in sickening ways.

"What are you waiting for...go protect this country's honor" Naruto said nodding his head towards the sound of screams and Temari looked at him for a moment before nodding and running off into the town.

Just before he went to follow her Naruto noticed two large eyes engraved onto the side of the town walls at the exit and he narrowed his eyes they looked similar to the pair that he had seen in his dream. The engraved eyes where incredibly small but he could see them perfectly there was no way he could forget.

Walking into town Naruto quickly avoided a swing from an axe that would have taken his head off and activated his wind armor around both of his arms and tore the bandit that had swung the axe at him apart. As he walked forward again he noticed a lot of bodies that belonged to the bandits and he assumed Temari was cleaning house and quickly he also took note that some of them had their face or head completely sliced off making Naruto think she was quite a powerful wind user.
