At first I thought my new bodyguard was hot. Blonde hair, blue eyes, strong arms that could probably lift me up and put me in any position the man wanted, he was a disastrously gorgeous gift I was forbidden to unwrap.

Until he opened his mouth, which didn't happen as much as I'd wanted. And even when he did talk, it was only about my safety or telling me thing I can and can't do. Being one of the presidents daughters had its perks, but it also came with a lot of downfalls.

"What do you mean I can't go? It's not like anyone's gonna be watching me." I argue, but Leon stares me down with his arms crossed, a gesture I've come to learn as his 'no I'm not doing this with you' move. I purse my lips, tempted to spew some kind of pathetic insult, but that'd be a waste of precious oxygen, so instead I just stare back, willing every ounce of hate into my gaze.

Sadly, it isn't a lot. A huge part of me knows he's only doing this for my safety, it's still annoying as hell though. "It's just an outdoor cinema..." I trail off. Leon's eyes soften for a second, as if he's pitying me, but then he shakes his head and sighs.

"It's a wide open space full of strangers, anyone could sneak in. Plus, it's in the dark, lots of things can happen in the dead of night Y/N." Leon murmurs, his eyes briefly dart to my lips and I swear someone's just turned the temperature up because I'm suddenly flushed.

But I'm still pissed. So I turn on my heel and pluck my phone from my pocket, willing up the courage to call my friends and cancel. I can't believe I'm missing out on seeing my favourite movie at an outdoor cinema near the woods, just because Leon's too overbearing.

Ugh.

The next few days are tense. I pace around my house that I reluctantly share with Leon, staring daggers at him every time he turns his back. I refuse to let him cook for me, though I do miss his brilliant cooking, and I even purposely watch the TV he hates just to annoy him. Side note, he still sits with me but reads a book instead.

When Friday finally rolls around, I can't help but feel sad knowing my friends are getting ready together, all excited to eat a shit load of amazing snacks and watch the most spectacular movie ever made. I do sulk, and cause Leon a heart attack when I go out and decide to indulge in some shopping instead, when I come back with bags of things, I begin to put everything away, which takes an hour or two since I'm an organiser.

When I come downstairs, I pause and do a double take of the living room. There's a massive den made of blankets constructed, and LED candles light up around it. Numerous snacks are set up on the coffee table and I finally see a sheepish looking Leon standing to the side, for once he isn't all confidence and blank.

"I...I thought since you couldn't go out, I'd bring the cinema to you." He mumbles, I'm sure he's blushing in the darkness. I smile, shocked and surprisingly touched by the act.

"Thank you, this is...wow." I grin, stepping into the room and feeling the cosy atmosphere. It's perfect, and almost compares to the outdoor cinema, I sniff and look to see a candle lit on the side table, the scent; forest fables. I let out a small laugh and step to Leon, I don't know what to say, so I just wrap my arms around him. Leon stiffens for a split second before hugging me back, letting out a breath as he squeezes me then releases.

"I'll put the movie on and leave you to it." He says, heading over to grab the remote as I settle into the den, but I shake my head and find myself begging him to stay.

"Please stay? I mean, I didn't want to go alone, and since you're the only one here..." I lead off with a smile. Leon looks hesitant but then nods, putting on the movie then settling in next to me, his head touches the top of the den and our knees touch, we're stuffed together but none of us moves.

The movie begins and I'm immediately immersed, reaching for the snacks as Leon grabs a handful of popcorn and eats. It's almost like we're on a date.

Fuck. Code red, I'm catching feelings.
Shit. Code bright red, Leon's looking at me with a weird look.

Our eyes seem to catch once the movie is over, there's so much tension between us and I don't know what to do. "So, did you have fun?" Leon deeply asks, licking his lips as I nod, my breath quickens.

"Yeah, the movie was...good." I whisper, instinctively leaning closer to him as he reaches out and wipes my bottom lip with his thumb, I sharply inhale, and Leon takes it the wrong way and pulls away, but I grab his arm and my eyes must say everything, because suddenly his lips are on mine and I'm in his lap, my hands in his hair.

"Fuck, you taste good." Leon grumbles, his tongue devours me as if I'm chocolate, I gasp as my hand reaches under his tee, feeling all the muscles I've been desperate to touch.

"Leon-" I moan, arching my back as his arm snakes around my back, his hand cups my ass as his lips move to my neck.

All of a sudden my phone calls, and we break apart, our breaths heavy. I glance at my phone, contemplating climbing off of Leon, until I see it's my dad.

"Hey dad!" I force out way chirpier than normal, Leon bites back a smile as I narrow my eyes and climb off of him. He clears his throat and begins to tidy, not sparing me another glance as I stand up.

And just like that, we're back to client and bodyguard.
