"Have a good night." I smile as I grab my few snacks and head back out into the night, the chilly midnight breeze blows my hair as I scan the near empty parking lot for my car. I only see a few other cars plus one bike not far away from where I parked, so I begin the small trek until I reach my car. I debate getting in, but there's something about the freedom of being out a night that makes me sit on the edge of the curb instead. I set my snacks aside, picking one up and eating it as I just enjoy the peace and dark.

The sound of the bike pulls me out of my comfortable trance. I look across the lot to see a figure dressed in jeans and a brown jacket lean against the bike, a bottle of water in hand. I can't see his face since he's wearing a black helmet, but something about him draws my attention. I can't help it, biker men just have that attractive aura.

I peel my eyes away, continuing with my midnight binge but I still can't help the way my eyes keep drifting to the man. He now has a phone in hand, scrolling casually until he looks up, his head immediately turns my way. I panic being caught staring, and turn my head to the side, now staring at the wheel of my car. I look back a few moments later, blushing when the biker man once again looks my way. I'm sure his head tilts out of curiosity at me, but I don't think much of if. God, am I being weird? Or maybe he's the odd one?

A few minutes later and the man gets on his bike, the silence broken by the loud engine. My shoulders slump, as if I'm disappointed I or he didn't make a move. But that would be crazy, this isn't a romance book, it's real life. I sigh into the sky, stretching my legs as the bike begins to move forward, but then the man turns and creeps towards me, stopping the bike only two parking spaces away from me.

I stare wide eyed, worrying for a second that I'm about to get serial killed or told to keep my eyes to myself, however the engine turns off and the man slides off of the bike with ease, flipping his helmet up so I can only see his face. "Are you okay?" I ask a little higher pitched than usual. Great, now the anxiety kicks in.

He nods slowly, bright blue eyes glide over me until he meets my own. "Yeah, are you alright? You're alone."

"So are you." I retort, adding a smile as I stand and shove the empty wrappers into my pocket. He gives me a chuckle, making my heart beat eratically. Fuck, he's handsome.

"True, but you're the one having a picnic in the parking lot." He grins. My lips part, I try to think of a cool excuse but I fail and end up shrugging.

"I got bored at home."

"At midnight?" His brows raise with amusement.

"I'm a night owl." I reply, licking my lips as my own lips quirk up. Our eyes lock for a second as silence passes between us. Eventually he breaks it, taking off his helmet carefully whilst talking.

"I'm Leon by the way."

"I'm-" I begin, but as his helmet finally reveals the whole face and hair my words get lost in my throat. My eyes widen in shock, it's more like lust. Or love. He gives me a wide smile as if reading my thoughts, he's definitely more confident and knows he's sculpted like a fucking model. "I'm Y/N." I eventually finish, taking a deep breath to calm myself.

We end up in some random conversation for a while under the street light until Leon finally asks "Do you wanna go for a ride with me?"

I bite my lip, I want to but realistically it's not a great idea, plus I've got to go home since I've got work tomorrow. I shake my head, wincing as the explanation comes out of my mouth. "I can't, I mean I'd love to, but I should get going." Leon nods understandably, but then pulls out his phone and passes it to me.

"Put your number in and I'll give you mine, just in case you change your mind." He smiles secretly, as if that's the only reason. I let out a small laugh at his game, then type my number in before adding his own to my own phone. Once exchanged and done, a part of me screams at myself for not taking the risk. For possibly making a terrible mistake letting this opportunity pass. I grab my keys anyway, knowing that this might not even go anywhere.

"Be careful getting home." He murmurs to me as I awkwardly toy with my car keys. I nod, but then furrow my brows teasingly.

"Shouldn't I be saying that to you?" I joke, pointing at the bike behind him. He turns to follow my gaze, then shrugs and steps forward, gently grabbing my hand and pressing a kiss to the back of it. I stand in shock, jaw literally dropping as he then lets go and gets onto his bike.

"I know what I'm doing, don't worry your pretty head." He deeply says, waiting until I get into my car before he revs the bike and eases out of the parking lot. Once he's gone I let out a long sigh, watching him speed away with confidence. I can't help but grin. What a fucking night.

We text each other for a week or so until one night when I'm once again craving a small adventure and freedom. I glance at my phone that's beside me on the bed, then without further thinking I send Leon a text: 'Is that offer for a ride still up?'

He replies immediately despite it being late. 'For you, always. I'll come pick you up?'

I send him my address and get changed into some jeans, a simple top and a thick jacket. Not long after I hear Leon outside, the bike loud as he waits for me. I'm nervous, but shaking with anticipation. I greet Leon as if we're best friends, oddly enough it just feels that way with him, even if we've only met once in person. He grabs a spare helmet and helps me with it, then holds my hand gently as I climb onto the bike, immediately wrapping my arms around him as he links our fingers together.

"I promise you're safe with me, and if you want to stop just tap me three times, okay?" He assures, looking back at me as my pulse speeds up. I nod, pressing against him as he slowly eases into the road. At first I'm terrified, but soon enough I look around and can't get enough. Even a small cheer escapes my mouth as Leon laughs, basking in my excitement with me. We ride around for about an hour, the lighte whizz past as my legs grow numb, eventually we stop outside my house again.

I climb off with shaky legs, Leon follows and grips my shoulders so I don't fall. "Was it as good as you'd hoped?" He softly says, taking off my helmet and smoothing my hair down.

"Yeah," I murmur, caught in the way he's looking at me, "I never wanted it to end." He leans forward, cupping my cheek as he presses his lips to mine. Hesitantly at first but it soon grows passionate, and a little heated. I pull away breathless, cheeks flushed and blood rushing.

"I never want this to end." He mumbles, tracing my bottom lip with his thumb, "I thought this shit only existed in romance movies."

"Can we go again? Another night?" I ask hopefully, leaning into his warm touch.

"I'm here as long as you want me around. Next time I'll take you for a ride and then dinner, how's that sound?"

I smile up at him, "Amazing."
