***4 Years After PT 2***

I sigh when I come home from work, shrugging off my coat and setting my keys in the dish before stretching my arms above my head and letting out a yawn. I look around the living room with a frown, the house is so...quiet.

A part of me worries something is wrong, I guess all the years of being an agent left a lot of insecurities, but since finding out I was pregnant and giving birth to a little lady four years ago I quit the job, kind of. I'm still working with the DSO but instead of fighting bad guys I'm now stuck at a desk doing paperwork. It's boring, but keeps me alive and well enough to come home to my husband and daughter every day.

I walk around the house searching for one of my loves, but I don't find them, however my heart skips a beat when I hear the familiar giggle of D/N from outside. I arch an inquisitive brow as I head outside into the garden, stopping when I see Leon knelt on the grass, his palms up as our daughter swings her fists, hitting his hands.

"That's my girl! You've got a mean right hook little lady." He grins, pulling her to him and ruffling her hair as she laughs and wraps her arms around his neck, he falls onto his back and beings explaining how to choke someone out until I clear my throat, giving Leon a playfully pointed look.

"Uh-oh, mom's home." He teases, sitting up and helping our daughter stand as she runs to me. I crouch down and scoop her up, hugging her tightly as she clings to me, smiling widely.

"Mommy you took ages to come home, stay with me tomorrow?" She mumbles, playing with my hair as I walk over to Leon, who stands and wraps an arm around my middle, quickly he leans in to peck my lips.

"Yeah, okay." I nod without hesitation, I've hardly been off work since going back so one sick day should be fine. Besides, I don't even know why I work at this point, Leon and I have more than enough money from our previous lives to just be.

I sit on the grass, letting out a happy sigh as our daughter climbs off of me and rushes over to the garden table, grabbing a handful of drawings. Leon sits beside me, linking his fingers with mine and giving me a look. "I missed you today, wanna make it up to me later?" He jokes.

I smirk, biting my lip as his breath speeds up. Our temporary mood is broken when a series of drawings are shoved in my lap. I look at them, smiling at the cartoon characters, odd dinosaurs and landscape which looks too sharp to be our daughters handiwork.

"Look what I made you today, daddy did one too!" She excitedly says.

I smile, giving her a kiss on the head and complimenting them. "They're all so good! Which one is daddy's?" I ask, biting back a smile as Leon nudges his shoulder into mine.

"Ah, an artist never reveals his work until it's-"

"It's that one, isn't it?" I laugh, pointing at the childish landscape. Leon laughs, nodding as our daughter wanders about the garden, singing a random song.

I smile at the view as Leon wraps an arm around my middle, kissing my cheek. "Remember those years ago when you called me for help? When you tried to take on that mission on your own?" Leon murmurs.

I nod, remembering how much I needed him at the time after being injured. "Yeah?"

"I'm glad you called me, because it all led to this, and I've never been happier. I love you so much I sometimes wonder if this is all a dream or if I even deserve it, but then I think of life without you both and it hurts, so I know I belong with you. You, me and our little lady, that's all we need."

I nod, opening an arm as our daughter throws herself at us for a hug.
