"Charli, meet your new on screen lover, Dolph Ziggler." I gulped watching the door open and the bleach blonde haired boy walk through the door. He grinned over at me, sending a shiver down my spine, nodding as he knew he had me right where he wanted me.

"It's so good to see you Charli." He stepped over and pulled me into a hug, holding a very tight grip around me. I stood there, not sure how to respond, until Vince's deep cough pulled us apart.

Okay, we've got scripts," he handed them to us, taking them off his desk. "Your segment is next week, so get rehearsing, I've got high hopes for you both." We nodded, shaking his hand and walking out of his office.

"Well then." I turned around looking at him lean smugly on the wall, scuffing his heels on the ground. I sighed, waiting for him to stand up properly then I began.

"I don't want to do this, and I'm sure neither do you, just follow your lines so we can get this over and done with." He smirked once again, coming up in front of my face.

"I think you're very much mistaken sweetheart, I couldn't be more ecstatic to work with such a boring, self centred girl." I took a sharp intake of breath, taking aback by his insults.

"I don't think I'm the self centred one in this relationship." I watched him run his hand through his hair, catching a look in the mirror of himself, reiterating my point perfectly. I hummed knowing that he'd hear and possibly realise.

"Whatever." I smirked myself, knowing I'd won the first of many contests we'd have between each other over the next couple of weeks. "Just don't screw this up for me, I've got a lot more to lose then you have." I shook my head, walking away, flicking through the pages quickly.

Dolph's POV

I spent the week learning my lines, practicing kissing on the back of my hand, and most of all, working out exactly how to show Charli up. I didn't like her, it was as simple as that, and no way was she ever going to steal my limelight.

I walked out to the ring for my match, avoiding Charli as she stared me down as I walked through the holding room. I always got there right as I needed to go out, I didn't really feel like socialising with anyone else.

Shinsuke stood in the ring, holding his hands in the air, as the crowd hummed his theme tune over mine. I sighed twirling the microphone in my hand and standing up on my apron. "Shinsuke, why don't you just go home? No one wants you here, you're no match for Dolph Ziggler."

Charli's POV

I watched Dolph and Shinsuke go back and forth for a while, when a hand grabbed me and pulled me to the curtain. I sighed walking out from the curtains and to the top of the apron. "Who are you?" Shinsuke asked from the middle of the ring.

"Nakamura sweetie, you might want to listen up, let me tell you who I am." I walked down the ramp and stood up beside Dolph. I could hear his deep breathing in my ear, as he pecked my cheek making the crowd boo. "If you want to carry on with your cruelty and pathetic actions against my love, I'll become your worst nightmare."

He smirked over, walking over to stand in front of our faces. "Shinsuke Nakamura is not scared of anyone, sweetie. Your boyfriend is a waste of space in this division, and let me tell you now, you could do so much better than him." Dolph climbed in the ring, running and jumping on Shinsuke, taking him down.

"Dolph! He's not worth it!" I ran in and pulled him off, tossing him out of the ring. Shinsuke crawled back, holding his head, as I joined Dolph walking up the ramp. I felt his hand slide to hold mine, raising it in the air. I could hear him sigh and twirl me around, leaning in and pecking my lips.

Dolph's POV

I felt Charli's lips on mine, the soft feeling slightly weakening me. I didn't want to admit it, but it felt almost nice. I was meant to let go of her hand, but I just couldn't do it. "Dolph," she whispered looking up at me. I slowly let go, the feeling lingering slightly.

"Guys! That was great." Vince came over and shook both our hands, as we then headed backstage. I walked straight off away from her, not wanting for her to see my smile. I slid into my locker room, sitting down and looking at the reactions. I scrolled through my timeline, when one comment caught my eye. 'Dolph and Charli are adorable together, the next big thing for sure.'

Charli and I worked all the house shows, cutting numerous promos for ourselves in the build up to Smackdown. We never really spoke to each other away from the ring, but the short time we spent in the ring, I couldn't help but admire her, as I slowly noticed the little things. The glisten in her eye when she spoke to Shinsuke, or the way her shoulders dropped when the crowd gave her a reaction. I wanted so badly to strike up conversation with her, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it.

The week flew by, and Smackdown came around once again, a mixed tag team match against Shinsuke and Becky. Charli was in the ring, destroying Becky completely and making her look terrible. I clapped and cheered on the side, winding the crowd up. "Hit her where it hurts Charli!" I watched her push Becky into the ropes, and then Super Kick her to the mat, picking up the win.

"Here are your winners, the team of Dolph Ziggler and Charli!" I pulled her straight out of the ring, noticing Shinsuke climbing in. I walked up the ramp, holding her upright as her legs gave way, holding a tight grip on my hand.

"Thank you," she whispered trying to turn to the women's locker room, but I kept my grip on her hand. I couldn't help but feel a twang of pain watching her weak body try to pull away, the grimace on her face hurting me more then I ever thought it would.

I sighed, twirling her around and pulling her close to me. She giggled as her hair flew in front of her face. I brushed it behind her right ear, then leaned in and kissed her softly. I felt her kiss back, feeling the butterflies in my stomach as she reached up on her tiptoes, before pulling away. "I'm sorry," I muttered, wiping the red lipstick from my lips.

"Don't be," she smirked, leaning over and pecking my cheek, before slowly walking away. I smirked watching her walk away, her battered body still looked incredible in her gorgeous purple gear. She turned back one last time and waved, before leaving me love struck and hungry in the middle of the corridor.
