STORYTIME!

Logan has found himself quite exaughsted after working. Thomas has been listening on his advice recently and trying to take more online courses on things that interest him, much to his excitement. However, Logan had been getting s bit too greedy for information and cramming instead of pacing himself. Yes, Logan did retain all the informtation and was eager to learn more, however he has tired himself out. Logan closed his textbook and looked around. He was in his room, however he hadn't locked the door. Nobody should walk in on him, right? Maybe he could take a quick little nap and be back up again before anyone has noticed he'd fallen asleep at two o'clock in the afternoon, right?

Maybe a half hour or an hour and a half later, somwhere in between those two time stamps, Thomas had fallen asleep for a quick nap for some reason. Normally Logan finds a way to convince him to stay awake, however he wasn't there so Remy took over and lulled him to sleep. Patton was probably the only side awake other than Roman, who was creating an amazing dream about Neil Patrick Harris in the Imagination for Thomas to have. Patton was really concerned, so he went to find Logan. Once he got to his room, he gently knocked on the door.

"Logan? Is everything okay Kiddo?"

Patton waited for any response. Nothing but silence. Patton put his ear up to the door and her could hear a gentle harp playing in the background, muffled by the sound of a fan. Logan never could find himself comfortable in perfect silence when asleep, in much contrast to what one may believe. Was Logan asleep?  Patton twisted the knob, expecting it to be locked, but it wasn't. Patton was careful to make as minimal noise as possible. Patton silently closed the door behind him and held his hand so over his mouth to prevent his gasp from being audible. Logan was asleep!

Logan was cuddled with the teddy bear Patton got for him, tiny necktie and all, under a Rubik's cube patterned quilt that Patton made himself just for Logan. Patton always thought he stuffed his gifts in a closet and never used them! Patton noticed Logan's glasses were askew over his face, which is very uncomfortable to sleep in. Patton smiled to himself and walked over, watching his feet so he doesn't step on anything, and he made it to Logan's side. He paused, awestrucken ar how beauitful Logan was for a moment. He was so peaceful and serene when sleeping. Patton wanted to pull out a camera and scrapbook this photo in its own page so he can keep it forever. Alas, the photo can only be placed in the scrapbook in his mind.

Patton took Logan's glasses off, slipping them away from his eyes and out from underneath his hair. Patton folded up the sides and placed them neatly on a bedside table he had. Patton then noticed how Logan had his feet out from underneath the blankets and the fan was positioned to hit the lower half of his body. Logan wasn't shivering or anything in his sleep, however Patton assumed it was uncomfortable for him. Patton conjured a baby blue blanket with hearts all over it and placed it over Logan, this one being big enough to cover his entire body. Patton smiled and admired his handiwork. He really was a dad, wasn't he? Well, he was proud to be a dad if that were the case.

"Sleep tight, Lo. Love you~"

Patton whispered, pushin his bangs behind his ear and giving Logan a sweet goodnight kiss on the top of his head. Yeah, Logan deserved a nap. Thomas deserved a nap from working so hard. Patton will just make it his duty to make sure everybody was awake by four so they could start functioning in time for dinner with Thomas's friends at six thirty. Patton cautiously walked back to the door, changing the harp music to cello or violin music for a nice change of pace. Patton didn't like it so he switched it to lullaby piano and music box. Patton looked back at Logan once more before closing the door and letting Logan rest.

A half hour later Logan woke up. Was it morning? Logan couldn't remember what had happened for the second half of the day. Logan looked at his clock, it was five minutes to four o'clock in the afternoon. Had he decided to take a nap? If so he needed it. Logan hadn't felt this refreshed in a long while. Logan sat up, noticing the new blanket falling off his torso and falling into his lap. That's odd. Logan didn't remember having  blanket with this pattern on it. Logan looked around, noticing his fan was moved and the music was different than the songs he was studying to. Piano? He didn't listen to piano often.

"Are you awake kiddo?"

Patton. Ah, yes. Of course Patton came in to check on him. That's only his nature as the father figure out of the four figments who live in this part of the mind. Logan glanced back st the blanket. Baby blue with hearts. That was definitely a Morality blanket. Logan realized he hadn't been wearing his glasses. Where were they? Had Patton taken them off? Logan reached out to his side, feeling them on the nightstand. He unfolded them and slipped them on his face, calling out to Patton on the other side of the door to let him know that he had regained his consciousness.

"Yes, Patton. I'm awake.

Logan watched the door open and Patton walk into the room, wearing the caring smile on his face that would "cure cancer" as the internet kids say. Logan felt himself want to yawn, however that'd be rude to do in front of Patton so he tried to surpress it. Patton skipped over to Logan, sitting on the end of the bed. Patton beamed a smile at him and took no time in beginning a conversation.

"Did you have a good nap? You looked like you needed it."

Logan nodded. That's when a memory was recalled in his mind. A memory from when he was asleep? Who knew. Logan just saw Patton taking away his glasses, tucking him in, and kissing his forehead. Perhaps it was the room telling him what had happened since now it has a visual of the same person again? If so, thank you world building and the power of fanfiction for allowing Logan to see this image. Logan chuckled and reached out for Patton's hand. Patton took it and their fingers entwined themselves before either male realized it.

"Yes, I did. And for the record: I love you too Patton."
