But you don't judge me, 'cause if you did baby I would judge you too. 'Cause I got issues, and you got 'em too. So give them all to me and I'll give mine to you.

Request by someone who means a lot to me. Pengi11. I'm sorry if I explain this wrong because I'm ignorant. I don't know much...

STORYTIME!

Logan has what they'd consider "issues". See, in basic human nature people fall in love. It's a desire for permanent company and it's a deep fondness within another being. Humans are social creatures so romantic partners are nearly essential, but not always. The same with sexual attraction. Most people experience this and have some sort of drive to procreate or even get the procreation instinct to wear off via sex. Logan doesn't experience either of these and considers these to be maulfuncfions to their being, despite the fact they are knowledgeable about the Aromantic and Asexual communities. How else would they have figured out that they were Agender without being aware of the rest of the LGBTQA+ community? The A stands for those three terms after all.

Deceit, however, knows full well that Logan is these things even though Logan is in a state of denial and repression. Logan claims to be super smart, but when it comes to themself then they are utterly hopeless. Deceit went through the same exact thing when discovering they were an Asexual Demiromantic Demiboy. Deceit is Logan's "boyfriend" even though he is well aware that Logan probably isn't the most comfortable with that. He has an aversion to all PDA, kissing on some days, and some days even doesn't like sharing the same bed because it makes him squeamish. Deceit doesn't mind. All he wants is for his partner to be happy and to be the proud father of their lovely three snakes. Oh, and to not get fired from his job because he actually likes it there.

"Logan, you are aware that we dont have to be in a romantic relationship to be together. If that title and some romantic gestures are uncomfortable, it's completely understandable and valid."

Logan rolled their eyes again, trying to ignore Deceit as they kept writing the report that was deadlined tomorrow morning. Was deadlined a word? The deadline was tomorrow regardless of what grammar requires for that sentence to make sense. He took a sip of his chamomile tea and kept working on their laptop. Deceit sighed, knowing that Logan was trying to "optic nerve block" him again. Deceit took the chair next to them and sat down. Logan till didn't give Deceit their attention. Maybe if he just keeps talking they can break through and help his significant other with their repression of themselves.

"Aro/Ace people have QPRs. Queer Platonic Relationships. It's like friendship but it is fluffy and kinda like a relationship. It's more than friends but not exactly romantic partners. I'm completely down for that if it makes you more comfortable. I just want to make sure you're happy."

Logan froze, stopped typing their report and glanced up at Deceit. Yes, they had heard of the term QPR before. A friend had mentioned it and they had done some research when trying to identify themselves on the gender spectrum and try to get a fix for their sexuality. They were certain they were homoromantic asexual. Aromantic? No. Logan was in love with Deceit... right? That's what this was. Right? Then... why were they so averted to some romantic aspects of a relationship? And those aspects fluctuating as if it was fluid. Hearing it come from Deceit's voice... it felt right. Almost like a perfect fit. But that simply can't be.... right?

Deceit watched Logan stare at the tablecloth for a moment until hitting two keys and typing something in. Deceit smiled, knowing exactly what term they googled. The same exact term that deceit had said. However, he was wrong. Logan ruined the screen around to see a new tab with the words: Would you still be with me even if I don't "love" you? Waiting there. Logan Lost their courage. They were so distraught by this that they couldn't speak. Deceit reached over and typed in a single word, deleting the entire question.

"Yes"

Deceit turns the laptop around to show Logan his answer. Logan reread the implement answer over and over and over again. Logan closed the laptop slowly, staring at it after the monitor went down. They looked up ar Deceit, emotions hidden behind their stoic face. Deceit smiled and stood up, pushing in his chair and holding out his arms. Logan stood up and took up Deceit's embrace happily. Queer Platonic Partners for life.

I am so sorry for making this so short and horrible I just don't know I'm the worst i know lol.

But yeah, advice. It's okay to admit something like your sexuality or romantic orientation. There's no need to be ashamed of who you are.
