STORYTIME!

1918

Logan wore his suspenders and bow tie with Pride, looking like a snazzy lad. He had his hat and cane and was ready for the big celebration after the First World War. He was a rather young man who was a tactician in the very war and assisted generals of the Allies, mainly the American fighters within the country, and was happy to be alive. He didn't have a wife nor family of his own, so his parents were the only ones whonreallt celebrated his return. The giant dancing festivities he was going to attend was just to make an appearance... And feed his ego.

So when Logan arrived with the rest of the surviving soldiers, he had gotten a round of applause. He noticed a young man off to the side with his wife and three children staring at him in particular. The man handed his wife a bouquet, and she threw it to him. Now, in all honesty, Logan wasn't interested in girls. Even so, he thanked her for the flowers amen tipped his hat. But he also tipped his hat to the man and children, sending a wink to the man to tell that he knew that he gave him the flowers in reality. Logan would be a liar if he hadn't noted the tint of blush on the man's cheeks.

So when Logan started having a good time, drinking a small amount of wine healthily and conversing with his fellow Americans, he spots the man again dancing with his wife. He seems to be having a grand old time, however Logan feels something amiss deep in his soul. He had mistaken this for feeling threatened or jealous, so he ignored the man the entire night. He was not mart enough to recognize whatever was happening to him whenever he looked at that man. Jealousy? Respect? Disgust? Admiration? He had no clue.

1975

Logan had returned from the Vietnam War and he was all but prideful. Now, readers, this is a new reincarnation of Logan. His body died during the Second World War, but his soul was recycled to create the man the had fought vigorously in Vietnam. It felt nice to wear his sweater vest rather than an army vest. Logan was walking through town with a big parade celebrating the valor of the survivors. Logan was one of them.

As he was walking through the town, leaning on his cane since he was shot in the leg and shoulder and was still quite frail. He was a medical expert, but also fought. He had to treat himself for his wounds with no stitches, Logan believed he did a good job until he got to the hospital. Backstory doesn't quite matter right now, so the actual story.

There was a man with his wife and two kids. The man seemed familiar, but he was unsure why. The man clapped and cheered for the army, but then his eyes locked with Logan's. Logan felt... odd. He was unsure on what exactly he was feeling here. Virgil cheered and saluted him. For some reason, Logan felt his cheeks redden. That's not supposed to happen, especially considering he was married to a woman. Sure, he married her for the money of her father and so society doesn't laugh at him and she constantly cheats on him with another man who is poor when he is away and he lets her do this becsuse he doesn't care, but still he has a wife.

After the Parade, Logan had decided to meet with this man. His name was Virgil and he had thanked Logan for his service. His wife, Rose, had asked about his wife and kids. He had admitted that he had no kids and pretended that he loved his wife. Virgil had a great relationship with his wife. Logan felt his heart shatter that day for some reason. He was certain that he was jealous of Virgil, but he also had aquatinted him and became good friends.

2019

Logan had decided for the first time in his life to go to a Pride Parade. He had a three month leave before having to be deported to help out Syria and other Middle Eastern Allies Who are struggling. Logan was 100% Gay and single, however nobody in his platoon was aware of his sexuality. Logan had gone completely out of uniform, but quite classy. He wore a collared shirt, necktie, and slacks. You know you're a serious guy when you wear a necktie.

Logan was just holding a sign with images of homosexuality in nature , combating the common "its unnatural" excuse that religious people and homophobes use. That's when Logan saw a familiar face, but he coudlnt quite place it. He was wearing a bisexual pride shirt he must have made himself and wore a bright smile, walking with two people who seemed to be his friends. A very tall girl and a seemingly younger boy. Logan decided to approach this group, feeling something stir in his chest.

The enticing man was named Virgil, and instantly Logan was able to recongnize his feelings. His first experience with love at a Pride Parade just before being deported? How... unfortunate. Even so, Logan was compelled by his emotions to hang around. The woman was Rose and the Not-Boy was a Non-Binary pal named Joan. Virgil's younger sibling. The two instantly hit it off and Logan could never shake off that he had seen Virgil somehwere else before...

Time went on and Virgil had started a relationship with Logan just before he left for Syria. Logan had come to an understanding that this was fate. Previously, he had not believed in fate but here it was ready to kick him in the gut. Logan was deported and returned just in time for Thanksgiving, and wasn't needed in duty until after the New Year If at all. His surperiors were thinking of placing him in a nearby shelter or move him to a position to help in prisons or with tech. Logan was great with Tech.

Years went on and Logan secured a stable job that he did not need to be deported for. He began working for national security and Virgil was a stay at home husband since Logan's salary's was hiiiigh! They adopted two kids named Emile and Remy and they lived happily ever after. Well, at least until the next reincarnation where they will start their love story all over again.

I really like this idea so I just went for it! <3 Logan seems like a smart, tactical army guy. Not Navy though. For some reason I can't see him as Navy... probably because all the Navy guys I know have long beards or scratchy stubble that's trying to be a beard, silver hair, and one looks like he is a hippie from the 70's. Now that I'm thinking about it, National Security or Airforce would suit Logan best...

My advice: just be a good person. I know you are one, so I'm not worried.

Internet hugs and blow kisses!
