Josh and Maya have been dating for a little over a month now. Maya graduated high school and got a full art scholarship to NYU. After she got her acceptance letter, Josh decided that it was time to ask her to be his girlfriend in which she of course said yes.

"Hey babe." Maya said as she walked into Josh's already opened door.

"Hey, I thought you had a study thing going on tonight?" Josh asked as he put the remote to the tv down and got up to greet his girlfriend.

"I do but I wanted to talk to you first." Maya said in a nervous tone. Josh tilted his head at her in confusion.

"You ok?" He asked with concern written all over his face. If there where anybody who knew Maya better then she knew herself if was Josh, that is in exception to Riley of course. Josh knew by the look on Maya's face that she had something to tell him and chances are he wasn't gonna like it.

"You know Mike Randoff, right?" Maya asked as she grabbed Josh's hand in her's. Josh's jaw immediately clenched at the sound of that name. Of course he knew Mike Randoff, everybody knew Mile Randoff.

"What about him?" Josh asked through clenched teeth. Maya swallowed hard as she took a step towards him.

"Mr. Peary made him and I art partners for the this project we have to do." Josh bit the inside of his lip, he knew exactly what that meant. Josh let go of Maya's hand and stepped around her to close his door so nobody would hear them. He rubbed his face with his hands and went towards Maya again.

Mike Randoff was known as the biggest player at NYU. He was a junior but somehow ended up in Maya's freshman class at art. Mike has been known to steal guys girlfriends all the time. He would put on his southern charm, get them in bed and then dump them the next day. He has never been able to hold down a lasting girlfriend. Josh knew that this guy had been hitting on Maya every chance he got, he even had words with him one time after he went to go pick Maya up from art and saw him pinning her up against the desk. Josh knew he had his eyes set on Maya and now they were gonna be working alone together on a project that he couldn't do anything about.

"How long?" Josh asked as he grabs Maya by the waist and pulls her to sit on the bed with him.

"One week. We have to have it done and presented by next Monday." Josh took a deep breath and nodded as he stared at the floor. "Josh." Maya said as she pulled his chin up to look at her. "You trust me, right?"

"Of course I trust you, I don't trust him." Josh said as he looked into Maya's eyes. "I don't want to loose you."

Joshua Matthews was not a very jealous person, that was until he started to develop feelings for Maya. Even with past girlfriends it had never bothered him the way it did when it was Maya. When Maya was seventeen she had gone out on a date with this guy from her English class and Josh paced the floors in his brothers home until she got back that night. (Let me know if you would like me to do a one shot about that) Maya made him feel things that no other girl has made him feel before, and he didn't want to loose that.

"Josh your not gonna loose me. Mike is a jerk who doesn't know how to take no for an answer. Why would I choose him over you? Besides, your boing." Maya said in all seriousness making Josh laugh.

"I don't want you alone with him. If he were to try something on you again..." Josh said trailing off starting to get angry. Maya leaned in and kissed him. Josh gripped her waist and deepened the kiss and he fell back onto the bed pulling Maya on top of him.

"We have to meet everyday after school in the library, come with me." Maya said as she leaned back to look at him.

"You think I could talk to Mr. Peary, Maybe get you a partner change?" Josh asked as his hands slipped up her shirt on her lower back area.

"I doubt it, he doesn't seem like the kind of man thar cares for complaints." Maya said as she closed her eyes at the feel of Josh's hands on her bare skin. A smirk made its way on Josh's face.

"Well then, I guess I'll just have to take matters into my own hands." Josh said as his hands started to slowly travel further up. Maya playfully swatted his arm and Josh smiled as he moved it back down.

"Don't you have a class right after I get out of school?" Maya asked as she slowly started to get off of him.

"Only on Tuesday's and Thursday's but I can skip." Josh said as he pulled her back down on top of him.

"Josh, I can't let you skip your class." Maya said shaking her head.

"It's not your decision it's mine. Besides I get straight A's in that class I don't think it's gonna hurt if I skip a couple of times."

"Josh." Maya said as she broke away from his grip and sat up on the bed.

"Maya I don't want you alone with him. I'm not gonna let you be alone with him, your my girlfriend and I'm not gonna let anyone come in the way of that." Josh said as he sat up with her and looked her dead in the eye. Maya knew she wasn't gonna get anywhere with him so she just gave up.

"You know, it's pretty hot when you get jealous." Maya said as she smirked leaning in towards him. Josh gave her a look.

"This better not be you saying your gonna start making me jealous." Josh said seriously. Maya fake gasped.

"Who me? I would never." Maya said sarcastically as she leaned in and gave him a slight kiss on his neck.

"Maya I mean it! I don't do well when it comes to guys hitting on you." Josh said as he closed his eyes to the feel of her lips on his neck.

"Mhm, I've noticed." Josh smiled and grabbed her waist and rolled them over so now he was on top.

"Your evil." Josh said as he leaned in and kissed her. Maya smiled as he deepened it.
