Seulki is reminded why Namjoon was picked as leader

Seulki was still at the dorm and still not feeling well. Her fever had gone away, thankfully, but she still felt exhausted, her nose was still stuffed up and she was still coughing up a lung. She was hoping that it would go away completely in a few days with V shoving the gross cherry medicine down her throat.

She was currently cuddled up on the couch with her favorite pink fluffy blanket that Jimin had bought her years ago as a Christmas present. While she was sick, she had refused to let the others stay in the dorm unless they absolutely needed too. She did not want to risk all of them getting sick, especially with promotions coming up.

She raised her head as she heard the beeping of the keypad for the front door. She glanced at the clock, flabbergasted she had really been staring blankly at the TV all day already. Luckily, it had only been an hour since they had all left. Namjoon's tall frame came into her field of vision. "Joon? What're you doing here?" She coughed a little and groaned. She really hated being sick.

"I brought you some better medicine. And your favorite soup." He held up the small bag and she smiled. He settled in on the couch with her, scoffing at the old drama she was watching. "It's funny and comforting, leave me alone." She pouted as she sipped her soup. He only chuckled, eating his own food he had gotten. "Aren't you supposed to be, I don't know, working? We have an album releasing soon." She teased.

He shrugged. "I rarely take a break so, I decided to today. You're not feeling good and I know how bored and lonely you get when no one's around so, here I am." He offered her a bright smile that turned his almond shaped eyes into crescents, and she couldn't help but smile back and curl into his side. He really did know them all the best. Especially her. How did he know she was actually craving her favorite soup?

"Want to finish watching that documentary on the trees? We haven't had a chance to finish it." She said, excitedly. It really had been a while since she was able to hang out with Namjoon or any of the boys. They had been truly working their asses off to make this one of the best albums it could be, especially since they were doing it all pretty much on their own. It was stressful and frustrating yet exciting and liberating.

"Are you sure you don't have to go back to work today? You are the leader; aren't you supposed to set the example?" She was mostly joking but also worried. Namjoon was telling the truth; he rarely ever took a day off, even if he wasn't feeling good. He nodded, patting her arm to try and calm her budding anxiety. "What's the fun in being leader if I can't use it for my own needs sometimes?" He winked and she couldn't help but let out a stuffy giggle.

"Feeling any better?" He asked and she shrugged. "My fever is gone. But still stuffy and coughing. My throat hurts a little too. But I feel much better with food in me." He hummed, pulling the medicine out of the bag and she scrunched her nose up. "It's bubblegum flavor. Like the medicine we used to get as kids. You should be able to take this." She was wary, but trusted him and was very happy that he wasn't lying just to get her to take medicine.

"How do you know me so well?" She sighed, curling back into his side. He rested his head on top of hers and chuckled. "I'm your leader. I'm supposed to know you best." She hummed, slightly nodding her head and focusing her attention back on the screen. "Tae told me you guys talked." Seulki hummed, half-paying attention. "Did you all really talk?" She peeked up at him and noticed the stress lines.

She ran her fingers gently over them and he smiled a little. "We really talked. A it's not perfect, but it's not going to be right away. But we're okay. Don't worry your pretty head about it." He visibly seemed to relax more. "That's really good to hear." She smiled again and then both turned their attention back to the TV. It seemed like it had been months since the last time her and Namjoon had just hung out without it being for work.

"I missed this," he sighed after about an hour and Seulki looked up with her hazel eyes. "Me too, Joon. It's nice to be with you without it being related to work. I was starting to think I was just a business partner." She teased and his lips quirked up into a smile. "If you were a business partner I might actually go crazy." She scoffed, lightly smacking his chest and moving to lay her head in his lap. "I'd be the best damn business partner you'd ever have in this life and the next."

He chuckled, pulling the blanket over her more. "Only because you're so stubborn and wouldn't take no for an answer." She winked up at him and snuggled into his lap, feeling tired. They both ended up falling asleep before the documentary finished. That was okay though because there would always be another day for them to watch it again. Hopefully, when Seulki wasn't sick. When the members came home, they found their leader with his head thrown across the back of the couch, mouth wide open and snoring and Seulki softly snoring, buried under a mound of pink fluff.

"That's definitely our leader and maknae." Jimin smiled as Jungkook rushed to take a picture. "The fans are gonna love this." They all knew he'd be zooming in on Namjoon.
