Chapter 127: Project AMERICA

Fay Risingray was one of the Kingdom of Uija's Elite Female Warriors known as the Valkyries, though her race aren't angels but they are known to be as Harpies, a race of Demi-humans living in a kingdom in the Great Isthmus Region. Sometimes they can be mistaken as Angelic beings caused by their white wings in their back.

The major difference between the Harpies and Angels was that Harpies had no divine magic within them, only normal mana, while Angels have divine and pure magic and are many times stronger than Harpies even if they are in the same level.

Now back where we were, Fay was one of the chosen warriors to participate in the war against the Ancient Demons that had returned since 2000 years. While she had lost some of her brethren and almost died multiple times, she still satisfied her pride facing the Demonic hordes.

But now, when she was called by the Regency Council, she was tasked to take back the batteries from the Banana Bus Squad alone, and take these groups of men back alive. Reason they chose her only is that she has spells capable of taking on the seven of them herself. Even if she is about to fail, she has many trump cards to take them down.

Right now, the little winged woman was flying through the sky at supersonic speed, when her eyes caught something unusual, she instantly disappeared and reappeared in front of the strange object almost impossible to see. She immediately realized that if it was cloaked with [Invisibility] or even [Complete Invisibility] she should see it perfectly but if it was [Perfect Unknowable] she shouldn't even be able to sense it if it's a hundred meters from her.

Once in front of it, thanks to her enhanced vision, she was able to discern it much more clearly. This was a vehicle of some kind, shaped into a rectangular box and with small devices protruding on each side.

Focusing her vision, Fay saw that the front of it was in fact a window. Realizing that people were inside she understood, this might be one of the Meccan's Small airships and these people stole it as well. 

What a bunch of traitors these people are.

Fay: Get out immediately and surrender if you don't want to get killed!

The Harpy yelled, pointing her weapon towards them.

Reacting to her movement the vehicle started to become visible,knowing they were discovered, the Group dropped their disguise.

And the vehicle's appearance seems weird, a yellow rectangular vehicle of some sort. 

Immediately, it went past her, moving away from her until she couldn't see the craft any more. When some kind of blue flame came out of the side pieces. 

Fay: How dare you!

Seeing something escaping from her felt her pride had been harmed, the furious winged woman hissed following them.

She activated her skill [Purifying Javelin] and launched it straight toward the fleeing flying yellow Bus. Totally surprised, she watched the powerful energy lance colliding with a glowing shield of some sort. Nobody ever fully resisted a direct hit unless someone is at her rank, her Lance adding with her strength can be so powerful that it could kill anyone at the <A> rank, but the vehicle on the other hand didn't seem damaged in the least.

Keeping pace with it, she thought that if the vehicle had that level of magic, a specific spell was worth a shot. 

Fay: Let's see how you like that, [Magic Destruction]!

The winged woman casted the spell and was disappointed that nothing happened. Even worse the ship started to accelerate beyond her expectation and probably even her natural abilities.

Fay: Oh no you won't escape me.

Said the increasingly feisty Valkyrie.

Fay: You think you can go faster than me, how pathetic, {Edgerunner}.
