We went into an office for more privacy.

"So darling I just wanted to say that I would rather you not get too close to (y/n)."

"Oh...ok. I'm sorry."

"You're fine dear, I just don't want you two spending too much time together."

"If you are worried, I have no feelings for your partner-

"Dear, I know, I just like my time with them."

Back at the house.

I finally came home from work. I will always have them to myself. Or no one will have them.

I found my love taking a nap in bed. So cute. I crawled to them and held them in my arms. I whispered out,

"You're mine."

They shivered.

"I know. I have grown to accept it. I don't really need anyone but you."
