Nine months of torture. All to one day. And it's going to be worth it. Alastor has seen and dealt with some shit. Even done some crazy shit. He's torn people to shreds and eaten them. But he can't handle watching childbirth. Alastor is pale and sweating intensely. He was nervous for me and the baby. But also kinda traumatized because childbirth is brutal. He held my hand as I pushed. He stiffened after I accidentally tried to squeeze his hand off. The poor man was losing it. His hand was being crushed and he is watching a watermelon being pushed through a cheerio.

Ten hours. The baby was born. We got to hold our precious child. Alastor's face when he got to hold our baby was something I could never imagine him making. The pure joy and happiness and protectiveness over one little thing was incredible. The love and adoration in his eyes mixed with tears was so cute. His pupils were extremely dilated and were shaped like hearts. He was experiencing something he has never experienced before. Not even for me. He will be a perfect father.
