Alastor x Male Soulmate Reader

Alastor's Perspective

I was looking into soulmates. I wanted to find mine. I was in the hotel library. It was one of the only places I could find a book about soulmates. Charlie came into the room to talk to me about some business stuff. Then she noticed the book.

"Oh! Are you planning on finding your soulmate?"

She seemed a little excited.

"Yes. I have become curious. I want to know."

"Know what?"

"Everything."

She seemed a little taken aback at how quick and almost harsh I said my response.

"Oh, I see. I hope you find them. I wish you luck on your journey."

I thanked her and she left.

...

I took the book home. At this rate, I'm losing my mind. None of these methods are working. I have tested at least thirty. I teleported back to the hotel. I found more books and went back home. I spent hours writing down methods and crossing them out. Then I found one that wasn't like the other ones I have been practicing. It said something about a line connected to where your heart would be. This would lead the way to your soulmate. I did the spell. My eyes were closed. I opened my eyes and saw a glowing line. It was attached to where my heart would be. I. Was. Ecstatic! I've been at this for hours and found the one that worked. The book did say that the king and queen used this method to find each other. I assume Charlie used this one to find Vaggie. Then I was off! I walked for thirty minutes to realize this was further than I thought it was going to be. I called down a taxi and hopped in. It was a tall woman that seemed to be on the curvier side. She turned around and looked at me and said,

"Don't worry about giving me instructions. I automatically know where you're headed. It's one of my abilities."

I nodded and let her drive. She was going the right way.

...

"Hmmm, we're here. This is as far as I can drive. You are going to need to walk the rest of the way to your destination."

"Alrighty then! Thank you, ma'am."

I handed her a stack of cash and hopped out, Yelling keep the change. She hesitated but drove off. I began to follow the line into the woods. I felt like I was close to finding them. Then a voice spoke.

"So that's where the line came from."

It was a male's voice. I turned around and saw a man who was about Angel's height. So 8ft. Taller than me. But my, have I never seen a man so beautiful. I saw the line that connected us both. I found them. I found...him. I was dumbfounded. I mean I was open-minded to this but I was not expecting to discover I was gay. But I was proud anyway! I looked into his (e/c) eyes. He had (h/l) (h/c) hair. His features were prominent. I was in awe. So much so that he had to snap me out of it.

"Hell to the most beautiful thing I have ever seen."

He spoke. I snapped out of my daze and introduced myself.

"Why, I'm sorry! My name is Alastor! A pleasure to be meeting you, my soulmate."

He giggled at my enthusiasm. That giggle gave me butterflies. I stared in great anticipation.

"Nice to meet you to Alastor. My name is (y/n)."

I smiled and grabbed his shirt and kissed him!...well...on the cheek. But that's not the point! He was everything I wanted. I found the one.
