Callie's POV:

It was close to 2:30 am, when we finally got kicked out of Joe's for closing time. Dr. Webber drove me back to Arizona's house that morning.

As the passing illumination of the street lamps shone through the sunroof, Richard asked, "What will it take to get you back on staff Dr. Torres, at Grey Sloan Memorial? Our current chief of Ortho will be retiring at the end of December and I am looking to replace him. Callie, I would like it to be you."

"Me?!?" I was drunk and mostly stunned by what Webber had just said.

"But, I live in New York now with my daughter and girlfriend." I was still trying to make sense of what Richard said.

"I'm aware Dr. Torres, but I can offer you a huge signing bonus, with expenditures for moving back to Seattle. Not to mention, the title of Chief, will command you at least double the salary you made as an attending. I don't expect you to answer now, but take a couple weeks to think about the offer and I will get back to you."

"It's not my place to tell you what to do, but as one of your mentors during your residency training, I think you would be crazy to turn this offer down. I'm giving you the opportunity to run the Ortho program at the hospital that raised you and a chance to be back in Seattle with your daughter, her other Mom and your friends. Just think about this long and hard before you say, no. That's all I ask."

"Wow, Chief, okay, I will." Pretty sure my speech was slurred at this point in the morning, but I didn't care.

We pulled into the driveway and I said goodnight to Webber.

"I'll send you a formal email tomorrow with the details, in case you don't remember our conversation." He winked at me as I exited the car, unlocked the front door and waved goodbye.

Once I was inside the house, I headed into the kitchen to grab a glass of water, before heading down the hallway and into the guest bedroom.

It only took a few steps down the long corridor, when I heard a familiar sound, it was Arizona. I paused near her bedroom door for enough time to realize what the sound actually was... Arizona and Renee were having sex. I heard the noises Arizona was making, it was the same noises she makes when she's close to having an orgasm...

"At least someone is getting something," I thought, as another part of me began to get jealous at the same time.

I was honestly, just too tired to care at this point, and headed into my room to pass out.

Next thing I knew, it was 4 hours later. Sophia came running into my room and crawled on top of me, as she took over most of the Queen bed I was sleeping in.

"Good morning Mommy!" She was incredibly adorable and a ball of enthusiasm and energy for 6:30 am in the morning.

"Hey, my Love, how did you sleep?" I asked as I cuddled Soph into me with an all, encompassing, hug. I was mostly trying to settle her and get her back to sleep with the way I had wrangled her.

"I'm ready to go for today," she said, as Soph, continued to bounce up and down within my tight hug.

"Can I go see what Mama and Renee are doing?"

"Sure," I said, half awake and half asleep.

I then heard Sophia run down the hall and breech the door to Arizona's room. Pretty sure both of them must have been without clothing, by the sounds of what I heard. Oh well, that's their problem, I thought, as I quickly went back to sleep.

Next thing I knew, it was 9 am and the sunlight that was streaming through the mini-blinds was blinding, and completely stirred me awake. I got up, went to the bathroom and headed down the hall to the kitchen. When I walked in the doorway, there was Arizona, head down on the kitchen table, as she was holding on to her coffee mug, still on the table, with her right hand. She was lifeless, disheveled, but insanely gorgeous, nonetheless.
