Chapter X: Funny Valentine and HD4C Part I

Dio: "I got Erina, I got your Father's love, and I got the world's respect. What are you even worth, scum?!"

JoJo cried, a 13-year-old boy, on the ground, bloodied and beaten.

Jonathan wakes up.

Jonathan, whispering: "What am I worth?"

Erina: "JoJo! It's our final night!"

Speedwagon: "Surprising that no Vampires attacked us tonight. Probably too scared of that wiley bloke of a President, mate."

Jonathan sighed.

He breathed in, and out. He did this for two minutes, only to spit out blood.

Speedwagon: "Careful, mate. You're going to get yourself killed if you keep doing that by yourself."

Jonathan: "Right..."

Jonathan, Erina and Speedwagon rode to the checkpoint as night came.

Jonathan: "The final checkpoint! It's the sixth month, and we've finally reached San Diego!"

Funny somehow stood before Jonathan, Erina and Speedwagon.

Funny bleeds in pain.

Funny: "I've been travelling alone... with no horse... no army... just alone... to gain all NIne Parts..."

Suddenly, the Holy Corpse Parts have disappeared from Slow Dancer's pockets.

Jonathan's eyes widen.

Speedwagon released Gunsmoke and shot at Valentine.

*BANG BANG BANG*

Funny laughed as the Nine Corpse Parts orbited him, glowing...

Funny: "I... AM... WORTHY!!!"

Funny stood before them.

Funny: "HEAVEN'S D4C!!!"

Nothing happens.

Speedwagon laughed.

Speedwagon: "WHAT A FUCKING WANKER!!! HE DIDN'T GAIN ANYTHING FROM ALL OF THAT!!!"

Funny laughed.

Funny approached the three.

Suddenly, they felt an aura unlike any before.

Speedwagon: "GUNSMOKE!"

Speedwagon shot at him immediately, but all of his shots miss.

Speedwagon: "What?!"

Jonathan then shoots his nail on the ground, which becomes a portal and shoots it to the sky,

He then jumps into the portal and ambushed Funny Valentine.

Suddenly, a bird appears before him as it crashed into Jonathan. Jonathan tries to Hamon Overdrive Funny Valentine, only for a snake to bite his leg. 

Jonathan heals himself using Hamon.

Valentine approached Erina, slowly.]

Speedwagon: "GUNSMOKE!!!"

*BANG BANG BANG*

Jonathan has no choice but to open a portal and throw him further away.

For some reason, the finger won't point towards Funny Valentine.

Speedwagon: "Maybe if we shoot at him even harder"

Jonathan: "I have a better idea... ERINA!!! RUN!!!"

Erina took Diego and ran away with Slow Dancer.

Erina: "It's okay, baby Diego. It's okay."

Funny chased Erina.

JoJo followed.

JoJo: "Mr. President... Why the hell do you have to kill my child and Erina?! You have Heaven! What is your point to all this?!"

Valentine: "If you and your family survives, America will be unsafe, as someone will still be in my way and try to take the Holy Corpse Parts for themselves. I know you're a good man, Jonathan. But if you hide the Holy Corpse Parts, I tell you, someone out there will steal it and achieve Heaven and try to destroy America."

JoJo: "You're insane if you think you can keep THOSE PARTS AWAY FROM ME!!!"

Valentine: "Stubborn as ever, Joestar."

JoJo pointed his fingers towards Valentine while flying.

JoJo: "No... It's too risky! I might kill Erina or the kid somehow!"

Speedwagon took one of the horses and followed.

Speedwagon: "I'm coming, bitches!"
