Velik had been on the road for a long time. He arrived at Attila's camp tired. No one there knew him. He was just a young taltos. He was greeted by Rijeka and led to the priests' quarters. Not much time passed when there was a murmur among the taltos. The young taltos' mental strength soon terrified the camp.

By the time Gork arrived, the young man was past the meal. They gathered in the great tent for deliberation. He greeted the young Velik to see if he would bring good news. It was said to have come from the capital.

Gork already had eleven, whom he had initiated to his knowledge since the departure of Oskam. Now he planted them in a semicircle, facing Velik.

- Say my young friend. What news did you bring from the Huns' capital?

" I've seen a lot of changes, High Priest." Velik was now staring at the person sitting opposite him, who was beginning to feel uncomfortable. The look was familiar to him.

" It is said that an expelled priest appeared who took the city under his influence.

As he spoke, Gork felt a sharp pain in his head for a moment, then, to his shock, a voice sounded in his mind as Velik spoke.

" If you change your behavior now, I will lose your life, and your body will serve me forever." Gord said these words intolerantly of contradiction. " If you understand, nod very slowly." Then look right on the ground in front of you. Finally back to my eyes. Meanwhile, I say out loud that you are not happy with the news.

- I'm not happy with the news. Gork nodded slowly, then looked right in front of me. Then back to the young taltos' eyes.

"We should have another conversation face to face." What I mean, High Priest, might disturb the minds of others. Velik looked at Gork very seriously.

- I think so, my young friend. I agree with you. Gork gestured to his talks, who left immediately. The force they felt whipped their fear.

Velik now looked deep into Gork's eyes and then gestured with a look that was okay. Both taltos closed their eyes. Gorda appeared in the consciousness of the old chief.

" What do you want from me, the high priest of the taltos, the lord of all living taltos?"

" Don't pretend Gork you haven't heard of Oskam's progress." Gorda's voice was contemptuous. "But don't think I lost it."

" I have heard that the Hun king is serving you now, my lord." I did hear about Eszkam, too. Also that Attila sent for him. He may return even before the Great War.

- I know about his return. I came, because. What a great war? Gorda asked Gork curiously. - You're still at war . Or not?

- A clash is expected at Katalaunum. "Gork didn't even think about lying." He didn't want to suffer. Whatever Gorda is curious about, you better tell him. Lest he want to carry his thought by force. He was old. He may not be able to stand the internal interrogation. Death may come for him soon. He had seen a man tortured by a high priest from within. His blood dripped on his ears and eyes.

- Who's against it ? Flavius? "Gorda knew the Roman warlord."

- He is. My lord. Hopefully hundreds of thousands will fall.

- This is an unexpected turn. "Gorda now recalled the conversation with the figure who mentioned the coming destruction." "I have almost nothing to do, and the earth gets what it wants." We are just slaves. I shouldn't have forgotten that.

Gork stared at Gorda in front of him in amazement. He thought he had discovered a weakness in it, and he felt he had to step in now.

" You seem to be overwhelmed by a burden you can't bear."

- It's possible. Gorda looked thoughtfully at the old man sitting in front of him, whom he had known for a long time. You need allies. And Gork's mind is strong. Not as shoddy as Krallé.

- All right. Let it be. I'll tell you what really happened.

Gorda reported everything in detail to the one sitting opposite him from the time Eskam turned to face him instead of handing over his body.
