Bleda was busy with preparations. He wanted everything to be perfect when his brother came home. He didn't know why, but it was as if his royal duties were more important to him now than anything else. Offspring and family. It came to mind, to do the daily tasks. His servant people also remarked behind him that the king had changed greatly at the news of Attila's arrival.

Itlar watched almost every move, and they often talked. Attila's heroic deeds interested Bleda. He also wrote them down. He justified having a common theme with his brother when he got home.

Itlar liked the king's interest. He had decided to himself that everyone who considered Bleda to be a judge of other powers was a liar, and no wonder the many people hanging on his arms.

At night he dreamed of Bleda's grandfather, who taught him to rule. This calmed the king's mind and made him forget his shamanic instincts and the power of the taltos he had acquired from the outcasts. He also decided that by the time Attila returned home, he would collect stories and records from the Hun people about his grandfather.

There is not much left until Attila comes. And from the east comes Oskam. This worried him a little, but Bleda thought that in memory of his grandfather, Eszkam would be relieved, too, and not turn against him.

According to his grandfather, an internal war between Hun tribes would now be wrong. Soon the fame would go to their weakness, and they would favor the Roman Empire.
