Requested by CrazyCatTeen35: Peter is Y/N's good friend and crush but she doesn't know that he's Spiderman. One day, they're on their way to a school trip when something happens. Y/N notices Peter swing out of the bus, so she makes the driver pull over and follows him, therefore discovering that he's Spiderman. She gets then gets in trouble during the fight and Peter has to save her

*A little bit of context since I butchered the explanation of the request lol. The account requesting it asked for it to be set during the city fight at the start of "Infinity war", so this is when Peter sees the doughnut spaceship and gets out of the bus before heading into the city. Hope that makes sense lol*

I sat on the bus next to MJ, our class heading to a school trip as it drove along the Brooklyn Bridge.

"So, yeah, I figured out how to do the homework that I was stuck on, didn't take me too long but it was a pain in the ass-." I slowly started to zone out MJ's voice as my eyes drifted to the row across from us, where Peter and Ned, our other best friends, were sitting with Peter in the row behind Ned. I sighed and bit my lip as I looked at Peter. He laughed at something that Ned said and threw his head back, the action making me go weak at the knees. Peter and I had been close for as long as I could remember since I lived across the hallway to him in the same apartment block. Sure, we were friends, but I'd always wanted more. I found the boy so kind and caring, not to mention extremely attractive. But I had received absolutely no hints to suggest that he felt the same, and so I wasn't going to go for it until I at least had an inkling.

"Oy."

"Ow." I scoffed, flinching and looking at MJ as she flicked my ear. She looked at me, her eyebrow raised and her lips pursed as her eyes flicked to Peter.

"You were checking him out, weren't you?" she smirked accusingly. My eyes widened and my cheeks heated up slightly.

"N-no, of course not! Gross, he's our best friend." I scoffed and shook my head.

"I don't blame you, Y/N. He's a very attractive and kind guy, of course you're checking him out." she nodded. My eyes widened further.

"W-what? Does that mean that you like him too?" I gulped.

"Ha, no. I just wanted you to admit that you like him, which is exactly what you just did." she smirked. I sighed in relief at the fact that MJ wasn't my competition before rolling my eyes.

"Not that it matters anyway. He'd never go for someone like me." I sighed.

"Hey, don't put yourself like that. You're beautiful, smart and caring, Petey-boy would be lucky to find himself with you." she reassured. I looked at her and gave her a small smile.

"Thanks, MJ. I appreciate that." I nodded, making her return it.

"WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!" Ned suddenly shouted, making us look at him.

"Oh my god." I mumbled, my eyes widening as we looked out of the window across from us to see what looked to be a massive doughnut-shaped spaceship in the sky. Everyone rushed to the other side of the bus and started murmuring and shouting, making me gulp as I stayed in my seat. I looked at Peter, him being the only one who would be able to comfort me right now. But then I saw it. He reached into his backpack, his wrists emerging with two contraptions clicking around them.

"What the hell-." Peter subtly aimed at a window on my side of the bus and fired a web at it, making my eyes widen further as he pulled the window open with the web. I watched as he flung himself across the bus and out of the window as I sat there in stunned silence.
