Summary: Logan goes to find the one other Side that hadn't revealed himself as a child - Janus. He finds him, but not as he first expected. And he find out why he hurts.

Not me listening on repeat to 'Surface Pressure' from Encanto for the entirety of writing Janus' part.

As expected trying to get three children under four years old to bed, especially when two of them were chaotic adults anyway, was absolute chaos. Patton managed it well though for the moments Logan was a little overwhelmed and soon came the morning time.

First of all Logan's alarm clock sounded. Firstly he believed the previous night must have been a bad dream by the silence the whole house omit so he closed his eyes peacefully again for a moment. The house was never really silent unless it was a rare day Roman didn't want to do solo karaoke. He loved mornings where he could take a deep breath.

But then he felt a lump on his stomach and chest. "Up-time Mom! Time for breakfast!" Logan opened his eyes quickly to see child Roman again with messy curly hair and wide brown eyes staring down at him. "Ood mornin'!"

Logan took another, more frustrated, deep breath and sat up. Roman was pretty much strapped to him and watching him with admiration, smiling once Logan had his glasses on. "Good morning Roman." He yawned, stretching a little and ruffling the little one's hair. "You feel any more adult today?"

"Nope!" Roman said proudly, shaking his head and sticking his tongue out. The slight peacefulness was not disturbed for long though when the second twin came bounding through followed by Patton holding baby Virgil.

"Up-'ime!" Remus screamed and also threw himself onto the bed and onto a very suffocated Logan. Patton couldn't help but giggle as he watched Logan try to balance the twins again. It was cute - Patton couldn't even lie - Logan was like the mom of the group but he seemed just so at home entertaining the twins (although he was confused). Patton sat at the other side of the bed and cradled Virgil. The baby had only just woken up and was looking around the world like the little cutie he was.

Patton sat on the counters and fed Virgil a milk bottle while Logan was cleaning up all the plates from breakfast. Roman and Remus were already placed in front of some Disney movie. "Virgil's going to hate that you have a memory of doing that once he grows up again." Logan said, speaking gently but with the laugh he didn't usually like to reveal. Patton just chuckled and awed under his breath.

"I think he'll understand. He's an adorable baby." Patton was making eye contact with Virgil and stuck his tongue out, but got no reaction as Virgil was preoccupied being fed. For all the two adults knew Virgil could remember everything about being an adult and was hating every moment of this predicament - but he couldn't even sit up so it was all a mystery.

Logan came closer to the baby and wiped a bit of drool from his round peachy face. "He won't talk to us for a week now we've seen him like this." Virgil mumbled and cried a little as the bottle was dragged away from his lips, and Patton began rocking him again. It was impossible for Logan to not stroke the soft, chubby cheeks when Virgil had calmed down again. But he couldn't live like this forever. "I should go to Janus."

Patton smiled softly. They had agreed the night before that Logan was the best person to sort this out. Patton was as good at babysitting his roommates as Logan was at debating. "Good luck Logie-Bear." He murmured. The smile reached Logan who smiled too, taking a soft sigh and squishing Virgil's cheek before walking out the room.

Janus' room was always dark when Logan walked in. Janus liked to keep his secrets. But there would be no secrets now until Logan found out what happened, luckily there wasn't a child at his feet yet. "Janus? Where are you? We need to speak."
