As we began our search for the paper necessary for my project, I was soon hit with uncertainty. After looking through multiple rooms and drawers scattered throughout the house, we were still unable to find any.
"You lied to meh!" I pouted, plunging into the couch's cushions.
"I did not!" Alex yelled in response, setting herself next to me. "I didn't guarantee anything. Normal people have paper in their houses, though."
"True."
I sighed roughly, biting my lip as I attempted to think of alternative options.
"Does a napkin work?" She asked, leaning against her hand.
"No, dumbass. I need something strong that won't tear that easily."
"What are you even making, exactly?"
"None of your business."
"So it's for the runt, then?"
"N-no! And- hey, that's mean! What do you have against her, anyway?"
"Well..." She started. "She did try to take you away from me."
"She already has." I breathed, a bit frustrated by her attitude.
"Harsh. Where did I go wrong..?"
"Hmm...let me think, you assaulte-"
"-Okay, okay, shhh. I get it. Sorry, okay?"
"You don't mean it though."
"S-shut up! You're making me feel bad!"
"Good."
"Good?"
"Yep."
"F-Fuck you..!"
