"What are we doing next?" Alex asked, panting rather heavily as she plopped herself beside me.
"Dunno." I sighed. "Ask the team captain over here."
"Why am I captain now?!" Kari huffed, shooting herself upwards. "Miss "I didn't agree to this"."
"Are you really mad about that?"
"Sure am!"
"If anything blame Terrence. I didn't do anything wrong!"
"Oh, so he's Terrence to you? When did this happen?"
"Uhh...since I read his name tag?"
"Oh..."
"Yeahhh..."
"What am I missing out on?" Alex intruded, poking my shoulder.
"The cashier guy."
"Oooh~ so you like him?"
"Hell no! I don't play for that team."
"What team?"
"The hipster nerd emo team."
"Oh. I thought you meant something else..."
"You wish! Now seriously, what are we doing next?" I exhaled frustratedly, pushing myself up from my seat.
"We can play laser tag." Alex suggested, pointing to a sign plastered to the wall.
"Since when do arcades have laser tag?!"
"Who knows."
