Your POV:
My dad has been my big inspiration through my life. I look up to him. He's head lifeguard down at bondi beach. I'm super proud of him.

I'm spending the day with him. I love days like this. We're going surfing together which we've done a few times before. He taught me how to surf. I woke up getting out of bed stretching after. I took a shower even though I'll be taking one later. Got to keep your hygiene up.

Time went by and I got myself ready into my surfing gear. I put my wet suit on saves me putting it on when I get there. Before leaving the house I got myself some breakfast so I have some extra energy for the day before lunch. I took my phone out texting dad.

Y/n:
Hey dad heading down now will be there in 5.

I smiled placing my phone in bag. I locked up my place then grabbed my board which was outside my door before heading down to the beach.

We decided to meet one another at bondi. I live on my own now just down the road from my dad. I call him Hoppo even though his name Bruce. I made my way towards the beach. Dad was standing there with his board in his arms waiting for me. I smiled when he noticed me. "Hey." I smiled giving him a hug. "Shall we go?" He asked. "Definitely!" I replied as we began to walk. The two of us did the coastal walk to bronte. It was quiet there. The waves were a decent size which was great. Means more waves for us to ride. We got down to the beach. There was a few people there not a lot like bondi has.

Hoppo and I walked towards the water. I placed my board down for a bit. "I made us both some lunch. It's in the tower as I put it in there before meeting you at bondi." Dad told me. "Aw cool thanks dad." I smiled. "Let's go catch some waves." I said as we both picked up our boards heading into the water. I paddled out into the water and dad did the same a few meters across from me. A wave came by quickly and we both took it. We were doing 'who can stay on the board longer' without falling off of course. I fell off a few times but it's fun and games when with dad. The two of us spent more time catching waves. We both walked out of the water and towards one another. "Lunch break?" He asked. "Yes please!" I exclaimed. I was quite hungry. Hoppo walked up to the tower while I got comfortable in the sand. He soon came back with our lunch. We both sat down and ate lunch enjoying one another's company. Days like this mean so much to me.

After spending a few more hours down at the beach we both grabbed our boards and headed back. We walked the coastal path once again. On our way back we got ice cream. We made it back to bondi shortly after. "Thank you today dad." I smiled at him. "I love hanging out with you." He said. "We sure have to do something like this again." I said as we ate out ice cream before heading home.
