Newt- Shit!

A/n : This story does not take place in the maze, it is present time.

I nuzzled my head into the crook of Newts neck, he stirred a little in his sleep. I was lying over Newt in bed, cherishing every little bit of sleep I could get. Evernthough I hadn't opened my eyes yet, I could tell it was a hot day. The whole room felt boiling,  we had kicked of the duvet and used a large blanket instead. My window was wide open to let in more air but it didn't make much difference. I could feel the suns blares against my skin, making me sweat a little.

I reached my hand up to play with Newts hair, twirling his soft locks in my fingers. He moaned in his sleep and held me tighter. I felt so relaxed. I  feel my happiest when I'm with him.

"Y/N!!!!"

Me and Newt sat up immediately at the sound of my mam shouting up to me.

We looked at eachother.

"SHIT!" We both said.

We both jumped out of bed rushing around to get our clothes on.

"Hurry up and get out the window!" I told him.

"That sounds very safe" he said sarcasm tinged in his voice.

The sound of her stomping up the stairs turned our attention away.

"Crap! Quick hide!" I shoved him into my wardrobe.

"Fucking hell this isn't gonna work!" He said.

"Would you rather get caught?"

"God no!"

"Then get in!"

I shut the door just as my mam walked in.

"Hi mam" I said trying to act as casual as possible.

"You've got school" she said " hurry up or you'll be late"

"Yes mam"

She started staring at something suspiciously.

"Is something wrong?" I asked her.

"Where did that T-shirt come from?" He asked.

Oh no. That's Newts. He forgot to put it back on.

"It's um... probably Y/bn's" I told her referring to my brother.

"Why would his shirt be in your room?"

"It probably got mixed up in the washing"

"Hmmm, ok, hurry up and get to school"

She shut the door and Newt came out.

"Close" he said.

"To close"

"Can I have my shirt back now?"

"Here" I passed him it.

He took it from me then froze, staring at the door.

"What?" I said.

I looked at the door to see my brother standing there. He was thirteen, I loved him but he could be annoying sometimes.

"I could go tell mam right now that your boyfriend Is here" he smirked.

"You wouldn't dare!"

"How do you even think you're going to sneak him out without mam catching him"

"Ummm... oh..... Y/bn could you distract her for me please, just so I can get him out?"

"I want thirty pounds" he folded his arms.

Newt held in his laughter so I glared at him.

"Ten" I said with gritted teeth.

"Twenty"

"Deal"

Me and Newt got our school bags and tiptoed down the stairs. I gave ny brother the signal to distract her.

"Mam! I need help! The TV's not working!"

She put her tea towel down and went into the living room to help him.

He gave me the signal to go so me and Newt ran through the kitchen and out the front door.

"Thank god we made it out alive!" Said Newt.

"Yeah!"

*timeskip*

I was sitting eating a meal at my house with my mam, brother and Newt.

"Mam" I said " do you think, maybe Newt could stay over sometime?"

She looked up at us, chewing her food.

"I'm not stupid" she said " I'm not going to let you sleep in the same room just for you to get it on"

"Mam!" I shouted.

"I'm just saying I don't want a pregnant teenager!"

"MAM!"

Newt looked down at his plate, I could tell he was trying not to laugh.

"They've probably already..." my brother started but I kicked him under the table to shut him up.

"You know what" my mam said " ok he can stay over"

"Wait really?"

"Yes but no funny business, I suppose your old enough to be trusted"

"Can he stay tonight?"

"If you want dear"

My phone buzzed in my pocket so I picked it up to see it was a message from Newt.

I looked up at Newt trying to hide my shock, he just smirked.

I know that look. Shit, I'm not gonna be able to walk tomorrow.
