Benny- Late night thoughts

I tossed and turned in the bed. I could not sleep. For many reasons ; the covers on is too hot, the covers off is too cold, I couldn't get comfortable, I can't stop thinking, my brain won't turn itself off, you name it!

I laid onto my back staring up at ceiling. I turned to see if Benny was asleep. He looked asleep, his eyes closed, his breathing steady.

"Benny?" I hushed " are you awake? Benny!"

"Ugh!" He groaned into his pillow "well I am now!"

"I can't sleep. Hey, do you think dogs know that we're not their real parents or do they just think we really are?"

"What? I don't know, dogs can't talk"

"So you know when your waiting for your food at a restaurant, technically your the waiter"

"Mhm sure honey"

"How does the universe go on forever, how does it have no end?"

"......."

"What do you think really happens when we die? Do we come back as someone else? Or do we just stay dead forever?"

"Darling..."

"If a Guinea pig and a normal pig had a baby, would it be called a pig Guinea  pig or a guinea pig pig?"

" If you and I had a baby would it get my good looks and your late night thoughts, or your sexy body and my chess thoughts?"

I felt heat rush to my cheeks and I opened my mouth to speak exept nothing came out.

"I...what?"

"Go to sleep baby" He kissed my cheek.
