Newt- Sick

Newt pov:

I sat eating my breakfast, when Jeff came up to me.

"Hey Newt, would you mind looking after Y/n today?" He asked "We're pretty busy with Ben"

"Uh, ok. Why does she need looking after?"

"She's sick and not feeling great, so Alby let her stay in bed until she's better again but we need someone to look after her"

"Why me?"

"She's comfortable around you" He shrugged.

I finished up with my breakfast and headed off towards Y/n's hut. When I got inside I saw her curled up in bed. Tissues scattered all around the floor. Her little nose had a tinge of red.

"Oh dear"

"Hi" She smiled weakly. Her voice was hoarse and sounded sore.

"You don't look good at all, do you love?"

I sat on the edge of her bed and placed my hand on her forehead.

"You're burning up"

"It's ok, it's not that bad"

"I'm going to get you some pain killers  and some warm soup ok?"

I hurried away, grabbing the things and getting back to her as quick as I could. She took some medicine and ate her soup, looking a little better. I looked after her for the whole day until night came along.

"It's getting late love, I should be getting off to bed" I told her.

"Please don't go"

"Love I wish I could"

"But it's worse at night, I can't sleep" She sniffled " Please Newt?"

"Alright, fine but just this once"

I shuffled into the bed, wrapping my arms around her. She seemed pretty happy and fell asleep in no time.
