Chapter 29 - 2.1 Third Small Star - The Abandoned Wife

Upon the transfer completion, Hei Anjing was once again pulled inside the small star leaving the system space to complete his task in the next world found inside the star.

Groggily opening his eyes, Hei Anjing heard the sounds of machines beeping in his ears. As he woke up, he was welcomed by a white room, beside his bed is a heart indicator that monitors his heartbeat. Few drips were connected to both of his hands as he saw that his hands were both bondage with white gauze and he couldn't feel his fingers completely but when he tried to, he couldn't stop his hand from trembling. His hands were obviously crippled.

After looking around a few more times, Hei Anjing knows that he is inside the hospital. When the nurse saw him awake, she ran out of the room to call for the doctor while the nurse was assigned to call his relatives.

Hei Anjing spoke, "Exe, the memories of this body."

[(World Plot) Wu Xue, the abandoned little prince of Wu Clan. Wu Clan is one of the best families that hold a position in the Music Society. He is, Wan Lengya, the protagonist gong's childhood friend and husband on paper. The Wan and Wu family old masters are friends and so they wanted their descendants to be connected by marriage.

Wan Lengya is a well-known asexual person. He is famous for his stern and icy demeanor. No one else was able to enter his eyes, even his childhood friend and wife are treated just a bit better than strangers. Everyone said he has an iced heart and only his love for music is undeniable.

Wu Xue and Wan Lengya couldn't be said to be close but they could communicate with each other through music. After all, both are undeniably talented in music, only because of a weak heart Wu Xue is unable to compete in the contest to be entitled as a music genius. On the other hand, his husband is a famous figure in the music world and was deemed as the King of Music. But everything changed when the Protagonist shou, Xing Ran, appeared. He is a prodigy, with a diamond in rough capabilities.

Adding up his bright personality, Wan Lengya couldn't stop himself from liking the boy. For the first time in his life, Lengya's heart skipped a beat and he ended up falling with the boy, but he couldn't betray his wife over his love. That is until his family upon hearing that Wu Xue lost his ability to play an instrument after an accident, Lengya was finally convinced to break their marriage which ended up Wu Xue in his lone misery taking his life to end.]

After having the memories of the original host, Hei Anjing could help but sigh, "Ha~ why do I always end up having to host the body of a cannon fodder?" asked Hei Anjing.

[This is because the host needed to change the destiny of that Cannon Fodder. So that after the world is reset, he will be the new Protagonist of the world.]
