The darkness didn't last long when you rapidly regained your senses. You missed the part where you landed around the broken buildings and what was left of some houses.
You received no wounds since your landing didn't get too rough, with a well placed cushion by the name of Roronoa Zoro. You weren't sure exactly when he caught you in his arms, but here you found him, standing tall and surveying the area.
"You caught me?" you furrowed your brows, and the male finally stared down at you.
"Simply because you were close to me. I would have not mind seeing you crash down" he grunted, but you knew he didn't mean those words. Not with that blush on his cheeks and the way his eye didn't meet yours.
"What a knight..." you drawled in sarcasm. "But thank you"
To your surprise, instead of dropping you like he seem to intend to, he gently put you back down. Then, the swordsman turned back and pulled out one of his swords. He slashed diagonally a rock to open a path, and sheathed back his weapon.
You followed after him, taking a look too at your surroundings in search of any sign of Luffy and Law. You weren't worried about them, knowing that your captain's Devil Fruit should have came handy in this situation.
"With a single blow..." muttered Zoro.
"I will try to find the nearest auras with my right eye...Maybe one of them will be Luffy and Law..." you said as you were about to activate it.
"Oi! Zoro! (y/n)!" yelled a cheerful voice above your heads. "We're up here! Up here!"
Glancing at the sky, you saw indeed Luffy and Law very much alive. Your captain's floral vest was hanging from the tip of a pole. Or what was left of a statue holding a lance. You weren't really sure at this point with all the destruction that occurred on this island because of Pica.
He was grinning stupidly, waving his arms at you two. The doctor was held between his legs.
"I got hanged!" he told the obvious.
"Let me down now!" growled Law.
